I took a gourmet tour of Paris recently, we went to a couple markets, were told how to figure out what makes a good croissant by just looking at it, how to buy a proper baguette, etc. We stopped by Aux Merveilleux de Fred and OMG, it's the best thing I've ever eaten! I wish I had tried different flavors other than the chocolate, but since I'm a chocolate fiend, I was afraid to branch out. It's hard to describe how light and fluffy a merveilleux is. Luckily there was a store somewhat near my apartment in the Marias, which I visited every other day during my stay. I could not stay away. Believe the other reviewers, they are not exaggerating how delicious a merveilleux is. Try one, you'll love it!

Chocolate Cramique really amazing, baked the same day, soft, delicious! Shop very clean, everything is under the eyes and the shop assistants don't touch the money when you pay! Really a must here in Paris

Just strolling down the street of paris like everyone else does, stumbled by this place and was in awe by its beauty. Decided to go in, ordered one of the meringues to try. Walked out with it, shared it with my girlfriend. MIND BLOWN, literally the best things in the world. Macaroons have got nothing on this place, they are cheaper, larger, and tastier. We went back twice in the same day and bought 2 dozen, let me tell you I wasn't feeling great afterwards but the pain was worth it :)

We bought a variety of their various meringues and they just melted in your mouth, just wonderful, light & flakey delicious. You can see them being prepared and the meringue being rolled in the particular toppings. Liked the way you pay for them the staff doesn't touch the money you put it into a machine.
