We just happened to walk by this little bar during the day and saw they were having a jazz show that night so we went back. It's literally a cave a few floors down, and probably one of the most intimate jazz shows I've ever seen. The place probably only holds 50 people max, and as we were there on a Tuesday night there were about 30. The music was great, and seeing the musicians that up-close and personal in this environment was a real find.

We came by this delightful little jazz bar quite by accident. It had wonderful late night Parisian ambiance along with great music! I hope you are out walking one night in Paris and drop in!
You won't be sorry.

I so love small venue! Walk into a very small entry and then down, not one, but two levels of stairs to what must have been cellars at one time. The night we were there a young man & his band were doing a tribute to Booker Little and they were absolutely fantastic. And afterward they hosted a jam, bringing up a lot of other local musicians. Get there early for a seat because the place filled up. Compliments to the owner (who I think was working the door that night) - this is what a jazz club is all about (says a guy from Chicago).
