Description: Located in the 9th district, this intimate dining room is contrasted with large tables to share. Its rustic decor gives it the feel of a country tavern. Its menu gives prominence to typical regional specialties. Eat on site or take away, the French bistrot cuisine is simple, fine and puts an emphasis on local produce. Enjoy its fine wine list to compliment the fare. The service will meet all your needs.

“Excellent food - wonderful service”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother's 60 years birthday, and we did not regret it. There was only three (!) tables in the restaurant when we arrived, so we got an unique intimate dinner where the service was consentrated on us. Excellent food - I recommend to start with the "mixed plate", and then continue with the duck stew and apple crumble for the main course and for desert. The wine that was recommended was perfect and we had a wonderful time.

“What a restaurant!”
Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

We felt like visitors in Marie's and Benoit's house. The welcome, the warmth, the organic ingredients, the wines, the wines... And all this combined with excellent and creative food at a truly good rate. We recommend the house burger and the chocolate dessert, and Au chemin de Moscou as wine.... Excellent! Marie et Benoit, à la prochaine, Bisous!

“This is the place for a real parisian experience!”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

Unusual for us, who always book restaurants long time in advance, this was the exception. The restaurant we had planned to visit was closed on mondays and the were therefor strolling street long looking for a restaurant. Suddenly this hidden little gem turn up at a corner!

Firstly - the interior is unique. Seating for 17 persons makes the restaurant small and intimate. Everything is matching, the napkins with the curtains! Lovely touch for details!

The food is very parisian, but with an different touch. The "husband" is the cook - and his speciality is parisian burgers. You will then be served burgers with for example foie gras! Try it!
But the desserts were my favorite! Don't leave this restaurant with out trying a dessert!

Book a table in advance - especially if you are going in the weekend.

“Charming Neighborhood Setting, Wonderful Food”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

This is a wonderful little restaurant (about 20 seats) in the 9th arrondissement that feels more neighborhood-like than touristy. The decor is beautiful, a very warm atmosphere. We were there early on a weeknight and had the place pretty much to ourselves, but eating later, or on a weekend, you might have someone sitting right next to you...quarters are tight, but this is not unusual in Paris. The owners are a husband and wife...she speaks almost no English but is a wonderful hostess. She brought her husband, the chef, out to go over the menu with us, which he did in great detail. We started with the salmon rillette (which do not appear to be made on site but which was wonderful nonetheless) and the house made pork rillette (a rillette is like a pate) . Their specialty is the chef's take on an American standard, the hamburger. But this is no regular hamburger. The bun is pastry like and the hamburger is special. My boyfriend had a traditional hamburger and said it was fabulous. I had the chicken sandwich with mushrooms and bacon...absolutely delicious. They also have steak tartare prepared several different ways which I was tempted to try ~ maybe next time. Highly recommend this place, our best meal while in France, even better than a meal we paid almost 400 euro for. I would recommend making reservations, even on a weeknight in October they had reserved tables.

“Delicious, charming, great wine and incredible hosts!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

I discovered Les Rillettes a little over a year ago and consider it my family canteen! The hosts, Marie & Benoit are as lovely as the food Benoit prepares and the wine and decor which Marie tends to with amazing care. Benoist has created his gastronomic French burger (hint it includes foie gras) and delicious specialities from his region or Marie's paired with bio wines from small wineries, digestives from friends who believe in small production with incredible raw ingredients. Be sure to have the molten cake with grapefruit pepper! For that matter, make sure you see the salt offering (every color and variety one could imagine). I highly recommend starting with the porc rillettes. My little canteen has become very busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you secure one of the 24+ indoor seats or one of the coveted outdoor spots weather permitting. Plan for a luxurious evening where you'll feel like family by the end of the night! I've taken a number of friends to Les Rillettes and they always comment it's one of their favorite meals in Paris.
