Description: Located in the 9th district, this intimate dining room is contrasted with large tables to share. Its rustic decor gives it the feel of a country tavern. Its menu gives prominence to typical regional specialties. Eat on site or take away, the French bistrot cuisine is simple, fine and puts an emphasis on local produce. Enjoy its fine wine list to compliment the fare. The service will meet all your needs.

We arrived in this restaurant without a reservation and were welcomed by this wonderful couple to a restaurant that was warm, festive and informative. The wine selection was terrific and well presented. All dishes were very good. Perfect !!!!

My wife and I ate at this restaurant as we were looking for authentic French cuisine.
The experience: We made a reservation for 9:00pm and arrived on time. There was no table available so we waited for about 5 minutes. When we were seated we were forgotten about for 15 minutes. We thought this meal was going to be a disaster. The lady explained that she was on her own and we all had a laugh about it. The lady was great fun flying around under pressure.
The Food: The food was very good, the menu is limited but authentic and delicious. We were reassured by the fact that everyone in the restaurant was French. A unique element is the seasoning tray with volcanic salts and strange peppers. The wine was recommended to us and delivered.
The atmosphere: The little wooden seats and tables out on the street are really intimate, not just with your dining partner but the person sitting behind you. Simple almost country styling.
The Verdict: This is a great little place to eat we would go again.

Coming from Americans, this review is a big deal.. My husband is quite peticular when it comes to burgers. Lets just say we left Les Rilettes more than satisfied.
Our server was pleasant and made some suggestions for our starters. We had the cheese & meat platter. Our taste buds were on overload. Paired perfectly with a bottle of red wine.
We each ordered a gourmet burger. Each was prepared with a variety of unique toppings. The buns were nice too ;)
Don't skip dessert. The poached pear melts in your mouth.
I suggest walking home from the restaurant. You won't feel as guilty about indulging at dinner.
Overall great experience. Don't miss out.

This small but gem of a restaurant at 33 Rue Navarin is 'home' with flavors that are so subtle but delightful to discover. The quality of the meat is rich and whereas one may think a hamburger is a hamburger is a hamburger, this is a hamburger of distinction. However, I tried the salmon with ginger on the brioche and if that seems a bit flighty, it was so savory and good to the last morsel. The rose wine was that perfect balance and even though my husband had a more substantial meat dish, it was still satisfying for both.
What was really wonderful was the set up of the restaurant allowed for easy interaction with other tables, if you wanted, or you could sit happily undisturbed with your magazine as I saw a few customers.
In a time when having one's own restaurant is an act of bravery, this is a restaurant with staying power. There was a lot of love for gastronomy and hospitality that went in to this treasure.

The food at Les Rilletes was fresh, seasonal and cooked to order. The flavors are wonderful, the wines extremely good and, in a city where going out to eat is not inexpensive, Les Rillettes is a great value. The menu is small but there seems to be something for everyone. We had three differnet entrees and all were excellent. The desserts were delicious and, as with the main courses, there were some great discoveries of things I was not familliar with and also combinations of flavors that worked welll together. The service is very good and very personable. This is a smaller restaurant Paris has many attractive restaurants that often serve mediocre food, how nice to find a nicely decorated restaurant in the city that serves great food and does not overcharge for it..
