“Perfect little table”
Reviewed November 18, 2013 via mobile

As is often the case, the best kept secrets are just a few steps away from the busy touristy thoroughfares. Step out of the bustle of st Germain into this tiny street to be warmly welcomed in this wine lover's secret alcove, which also serves food. Nothing fancy or expensive in the plate, just good home cooking. But the wine list is fantastic. No trophy wines here, just the best of French production. The wine tasting classes are world class. Inquire if you are interested.

“Sweet little restaurant”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

We selected this because of TA reviews. The service was attentive and friendly. We had the tasting menu "surprise" with wine parings for about 50 euros each. It was very good and the wine selections were excellent. The one complaint was that it was fairly hot though once they turned down the lighting (halogen bulbs) it got a little better. The restaurant is shoehorned into an odd space but it works pretty well. After having made the mistake of eating in a tourist trap the night before, this was a joyous find. I would have given them a 5 had the temperature been more agreeable (this was in Octobre) and the seating not been plastic chairs (though kind of artsy).

“Fabulous Hostess”
Reviewed October 16, 2013 via mobile

We looked at previous reviews before visiting this place as we were in the area on Monday whilst on a family trip to Paris. We visited with with our four children (aged 4-14) and we had a fantastic meal with superb wine with a fantastic hostess. We would thoroughly recommend the Grains Nobles.....they bend over backwards to ensure the kids were happy, entertained and well feed......

“One of the best!”
Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

With Paris, such a visited city with crowds of tourists, it is just fantastic to find such a special place as this one: an ancient building in the heart of the "quartier latin", with quiet and romantic environments to taste the best french wines with very well selected and fresh food. Quinua with Salmon was great! Service is excelent; this place managed by Anna is much more than a Restaurant: Its a fantastic place to discover and enjoy after a long walk day in Paris with a cup of wine and the best ambiance. Really worth! ... And almost forgot: not too many tourists for the moment, just local people.

Thank Juan V

“Salmon is perfect!!!!!”
Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

The three hundred year old building is very lovely is mainly the wine school. The wine specialists share their knowlege and teach A-Z of wine. The ground floor is the restaurant managed by Anna. She is very keen on selecting the best and fresh ingredients. Salmon, duck and rissoto(Italian rice) is perfect. Bon appetite!
