We are visiting Paris during the holidays and walked up from our hotel in the Republic area one night planning to go to another italian restaurant that turned out to be closed for the holidays. We were about to call it a night because we got stuck in the rain and were about to eat at yet another brasserie/cafe near our hotel, when we luckily stumbled upon this restaurant. My husband ordered the lamb chops and couscous and I ordered the meatballs with couscous, both of which were delicious. It came with this fresh vegetable stew (reminded me of homemade minestrone) that you poured over the couscous and your meat. It was a very unique way to eat and serve couscous, one that I hadn't seen before. We ended with a banana split dessert which was very tasty. Overall, while neither the service or ambience were anything special, the food was wonderful and the pricing was reasonable (for Paris).
