We went here as it was so well reviewed and it did not disappoint. The decor is very basic, but the food and the service are amazing. My wife had ham and eggs and I had toast and croissant. Both were fantastic and excellent value. The owner was only to happy to explain the menu in English and was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

I had breakfast at Strada Cafe one morning while visiting Paris. The coffee was excellent (definitely better than Starbucks or any commercial coffee). You can never go wrong with fresh squeezed orange juice, and the toasted bread and preserves were fantastic. I would highly recommend Strada to anyone passing through. The staff is very friendly, and you can tell they all love their jobs.

We were in Paris for a long weekend, and did more than our fair share of eating – and I can safely say that Strada was up there with the best!

We visited on Saturday morning (with some mild hangovers), and were so well looked after! The Strada club sandwiches were to die for – perfect flavours and a really good portion size, with a lovely fresh salad and a mound of yummy crisps. The coffees were delicious, and just what the doctor ordered. We had a Latte and an iced coffee, and both were lovely. And the Lemon Meringue Pie we had for dessert? Out of this world.

Even better than the food and drinks, though, were the service and the atmosphere. We felt welcome and looked after from the moment we walked in, and there was a lovely, relaxed feel to the place. There seemed to be a good mix of customers from all different corners of the globe, and the staff were happy to speak to us in either English or French. Although I’d made a vow to speak as much French as possible that weekend, in my slightly fuzzy state I was happy to be able to order in English and be 100% sure of what we were going to get! (My French is rusty to say the least…).

The guy who served us (Liam, if memory serves) was really lovely, and made some great recommendations for places to go and things to see – we were so glad of his advice, as we only had three days to see as much of Paris as possible. The only reason we didn’t go back here for brunch on the Sunday was that we wanted to try as many different places as possible. And we wished we’d stuck with what we knew, as the place we went to instead wasn’t a patch on Strada.

Hi Sundaygirl,

Many thanks for taking the time to visit and review Strada during your trip to Paris. It was great to meet you and your NEW fiancé, albeit slightly jaded from your celebrations the night before. I’m glad that you found the club Strada sandwich tasty and hopefully it set you up for another day of sightseeing and celebrations.

Once again, many thanks for the review, and we look forward to welcoming you (and your husband!) back in the future.

Liam

The food is good and fresh. The menu is very limited - light and fast, mostly cold dishes etc..
They don't serve branch on Saturday. It seems a nice place but not as wonderful as described by other.

Hi Ahuvaf

Many thanks for taking the time to visit and review Strada during your trip to Paris. You’re absolutely right; our menu is small, light and perfectly suited for a quick bite on the go.

Our fixed brunch menu is available every Sunday and consists of three courses for €20, with a weekly changing menu. The rest of the week you’ll find our fresh salads, quiches & sandwiches available (and homemade soup in winter).

I’m sorry that you feel that we weren’t as wonderful as you’d read us to be, however we have to accept that this is subjective, and we are of course always looking to improve on specific feedback.

Once again, many thanks for the review and we hope that we can look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

We had a great breakfast here on one of the first days in Paris. We got talking to the waiter who turned out to be Australian and gave us some great suggestions on places to visit and eat in Paris. Those suggestions turned out to be some of the best we had in Paris. Definitely recommend a visit here for a coffee and something to eat (we had some freshly made yogurt and muesli on the day which definitely hit the spot)

Hi Write2slappy,

Many thanks for taking the time to visit and review Strada during your trip to Paris – I’m so pleased that you enjoyed your breakfast with us.

Pete is our friendly Australian born Barista and he was pleased to hear that you found his tips useful during your stay. We all live fairly local to the café and know Paris pretty well between us. The homemade muesli with yoghurt & honey that you enjoyed is a new addition to our menu and has been going down a storm at breakfast time.

Once again, many thanks for the review and we hope that we can look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
