My wife and I wound up in this restaurant at the top of Centre Pompidou. We didn't have reservation so they did not allow us to seat close to the window, however, we could get a good glance of the city -- Centre Pompideu is one of the tallest buildings around that part of city and you can see from Montmatre's hills to Notre Dame's towers (and the famous eiffel tower).
- fantastic view (the best after eiffel tower)
- good food
- if you don't have reservation, they will not give you window seats
The hostess told us that all window seats were unavailable due to reservation, however, we stayed for the entire night and no one actually showed up. There's a good chance that they will not give the window seats unless you've made reservations.
