It is my pleasure to be the one to get Boulangerie Mauvieux on TripAdvisor and be the first to review this fine bakery. Having read in the news that Sebastien Mauvieux of Boulangerie Mauvieux had won the prestigious "Best Baguette" in Paris award on May 2,2012, I just had to taste for myself. I'm so glad I did! I visited the lovely little bakery on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. It's located in the 18th, just a 10 minute walk from the Sacre Coeur. I ordered the famous baguette tradition, and a croissant, since Mr. Mauvieux had won the "Best Croissant" in Paris award previously. They were awesome! Such a delicious treat that I ate them both and ordered another baguette tradition to eat on my way back to my hotel. As part of the award for winning the title, Boulangerie Mauvieux became the official baker for the new president of France. Everyday, this bakery sends 15 baguettes tradition to the presidential palace. If you want to eat like the president of France, visit the Boulangerie Mauvieux and tell them President Hollande sent you. lol
