Description: This family-run Italian restaurant offers fresh market produce, with the menu changing several times a month according to the best seasonal ingredients. Specialities from Piemont - where chef Franco and his wife Nadia (in charge of the front-of-house) are from - feature regularly. Homemade pasta, fish and meat dishes feature alongside Italian desserts, while the wine list offers a selection of the peninsula's best. The focus is on freshness, taste and value for money.

“A rare genuine Italian pearl.”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

Having actually been a regular to gustibus nearly since the day it opened, and eating out every night (at other restaurants also around Paris and in the world) I can with confidence say that gustibus is one if few genuine places, if not the only one in the neighborhood, that combines great friendly service with genuine proper cooking made with passion and the days best produce.
Nadia, half of the Piedmontese owner couple with her husband Franco who is an excellent cook, serves you with personality humor and warmth.
It's rare to find an Italian restaurant in Paris where the food is actually cooked by Italians, and the weekly changing menu allows for coming back ever so often without getting tired of the food. The interior is simple but charming especially because if its friendly atmosphere. Dishes are prepared with finesse and I'd recommend trying something you usually wouldn't order elsewhere, such as the marinated slow cooked rabbit when available. It won't leave you disappointed even if you are a regular restaurant goer with high standards as myself.

“Cosy place”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

When we arrived at the restaurant, we thought it was a big place, but it turned out to be very small. We were with 7 and had no reservation, but we were able to sit there. It was a bit tight, because there was another big group sitting behind us, but it all just fit. Actually I liked the atmosphere, because it was small and coosy. We all took a main dish, the pasta was really really good, is taste very fresh. I had the griled tuna, which was really good and a lot, the only thing I did not like were the raw mushrooms that came with it...but I guess that is a french way of cooking...?? The italian restaurant is different from the ones I am used to, but it is a nice one. Also the service was good, the lady who was helping us was very helpfull and nice.
