Having actually been a regular to gustibus nearly since the day it opened, and eating out every night (at other restaurants also around Paris and in the world) I can with confidence say that gustibus is one if few genuine places, if not the only one in the neighborhood, that combines great friendly service with genuine proper cooking made with passion and the days best produce.
Nadia, half of the Piedmontese owner couple with her husband Franco who is an excellent cook, serves you with personality humor and warmth.
It's rare to find an Italian restaurant in Paris where the food is actually cooked by Italians, and the weekly changing menu allows for coming back ever so often without getting tired of the food. The interior is simple but charming especially because if its friendly atmosphere. Dishes are prepared with finesse and I'd recommend trying something you usually wouldn't order elsewhere, such as the marinated slow cooked rabbit when available. It won't leave you disappointed even if you are a regular restaurant goer with high standards as myself.
