We stayed at this hotel in October - the opening night party took place during our stay. The hotel is new and very well decorated. The staff is friendly. The location is great... in the Latin Quarter, close to different dining options, a few minutes from Notre Dame, St Michel... We were able to explore Paris on foot most of the time.
The room was very nice (we were in the deluxe room). The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we had an open shower, so every time we took a shower, the bathroom was flooded. The staff gave us extra towels to help us fix the problem, however it would have been better to have a normal shower.
We were travelling with a baby, who used existing bedding. We first made a reservation for the classic room (via another web site, not the official hotel site) and asked whether it was OK to have the baby in the room and they said that they checked with the reception and it was OK. However, I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to double-check but they said they would require us to book the deluxe room. We did and we paid extra (they did give us a small discount). Normally, when we travel with our child, other hotels don't charge anything extra (provided that baby uses existing bedding). This was the only thing I didn't really like. But the hotel is really nice and, other than that, the staff was really friendly and helpful, therefore I decided to give the hotel an excellent rating.

Room Tip: Ask for one which doesn't have an open shower :-)

Our family of 2 Adults & 2 Children stayed in Suite 234 from 24-27 May 2013. The room was relatively small especially with the queen sofa bed opened, but it was clean. Washroom was nice & modern. Location was close 5mins walk to Maubert-Mutualite station.

My family of 4 stayed here for 6 nights in the suite 234. The suite was very small being only 22 m2 but the space was very well utilized. There was a sofabed, small table, tv, and chair in one room. In the other was just a queen sized bed and tv. In between the bedrooms was an elegant bathroom with a good sized shower and modern sink as well as a separate small toilet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel and room was very clean. There is also a business room with computers (but no printer), sauna, and small gym. The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to most of the attractions in Paris. Our room had windows onto the small interior courtyard which was nice and quiet. The suite and hotel is elegantly decorated and despite being very small in size (but then again in Paris everything is small compared to North America) we enjoyed our stay there very much. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

My family of three stayed here from May 22 -26th 2013 and we just loved it. The hotel was a good base for us to explore Paris and the Latin Quarter. Although the room was small, we felt very comfy there. The room was clean and the decor so cool, shower area was big with double shower and cleaned everyday by housekeeping. Staff were all nice and friendly. The hotel being in the Latin Quarter, we were able to pick and chose where to eat since restaurants were aplenty. Prefixed menus between €25-45, but we ate mostly a la carte because the portions were good enough for one serving. Overall, we will definitely stay here again when in Paris.

The hotel, location and room exceeded our expectations. The room was smartly designed for its size, charming, clean, new-looking and quiet... loved the blackout drapes and comfy bed. The gym, sauna and the hydro massage facilities in the hotel are good extras. We especially loved the location and convenience to the metro, restaurants and the open air market full of yummy delights. We would most definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We opted for a quieter courtyard-facing room.

This was our second stay in the Latin Quarter, loving the area with it's great restaurants and laid back attitude. Hotel Atmospheres has been recently renovated with the rooms done in very good taste. The bathroom was spacious with an awesome shower & even though the room faced Rue des Ecoles ( great people watching), the room was very quiet with the window closed. I thought the breakfast buffet was pricey @ 18€ with nothing out of the ordinary being offered but the smaller choice breakfast was fine at 9€. The best thing about the hotel though was Reeza at the front desk in the evenings. He knew what was needed even before you asked and he delivered with a smile! The best meal we had in Paris was at his suggestion. This man loves his job & it shows in the way he treats the guests. In the end, I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking in the 5th!

Just got back from a six night stay at Hotel Atmosphere. We were graciously greeted by Marjorie and announced that we had gotten upgraded to the Junior Suite on the 6th floor. The suite was perfect. Marjorie was really gracious/patient assisting us with administrative needs, not to mention her excellent dining suggestions...we did our best to avoid tourist traps. The rest of the staff were equally helpful and very friendly.

Thank you for making our stay in the city of lights a memorable one.

Perhaps the only comment I have about the suite is the lack of any towel hanging options, I believe this was mentioned in other reviews...should be a fairly easy fix in my opinion.
