“Disappointed”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

Had booked but could have walked in and got a table. What we ordered was excellent but menu now very limited and includes lobster club sandwich. Recommend the actual lobster if they have it on the menu

“Excellent out of the way gem”
Reviewed November 27, 2013 via mobile

This neighborhood restaurant deep in Batignolle in the 17th is well worth finding. We had the best oysters in Paris, from the owner's family's oyster beds in Bretagne. We also had fabulous shrimp sautéed in ginger and coriander, and all for a very reasonable price.

“Excellent Seafood in Paris - Highly Recommended”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

A charming little bistro with an assortment of dishes to please a seafood-lover's palate! We were looking for oysters and stumbled upon an online mention of this restaurant and decided to give it try. Our dining experience was outstanding. Not only was the service excellent, the food was absolutely mouth-watering. From the bread and butter to the freshly shucked oysters, and sumptuous shrimp and pollock mains; everything was done to perfection and we left feeling completely satisfied. I would say it was the best meal I had in Paris during my stay. The restaurant itself is simplistic but charming, and we were able to sit outside to enjoy a warmer Paris night and lovely bottle of rose. I would highly recommend this restaurant to those craving a great seafood dish!

“A real find in the 17th”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

In a quiet part of Paris is a sweet little restaurant that really cares about seafood. The host is gracious and welcoming; the space is lovely and low-key; and there is an English version of the menu for those who need it. My favorite dishes were the coriander and ginger shrimp (such flavor, and the perfect texture for shrimp) and the salted butter and sugar crepe. There were many other dishes on the menu that I'd like to try.

The bill for a glass of wine, entree, main and dessert was 48E. You can call for reservations or make them online through La Fourchette.

“Great seafood away from the Paris Bustle - worth a try! Loved it!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

A lovely oasis in a city bustling with overpriced options and tourist traps - this restaurant is in a quieter quarter of Paris in the North near Metro Brochant.

The menu is written on a chalkboard(in french)which is subsequently passed around the room as different diners flow in.
The food is excellent - its focused on seafood and the preparations are simple and well executed. I had the Dory fish with basil which was accompanied by potatoes and a lightly dressed salad. Best meal I had while in Paris. The thickly sliced country bread comes with a fish tartine and butter when you sit, so as you are waiting with a glass of wine, your appetite is whetted with some really nice simple food.

Prices are reasonable. Everything is fresh, clean, and well prepped. I recommend - this is a great place for small groups, a couple or dining alone. Worth the trek!
