My new favorite place to eat in Paris and it was right outside our B&B! Very limited menu that is written each night on a blackboard but everything we had (4 of us had meals) was very good! The entree assortments looked wonderful although we didn't have that - and the desserts were fantastic and made in house! Service was good - we had a young man who explained everything in English for us and was very charming. Tables both inside and on the sidewalk - it was quite busy the night we were there but still intimate and small and homey.

“Excellent chef and staff who will match the wine with the food”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

This is a tiny restaurant out with about eight tables in side and the same outside. The food is terrific. Only a small menu but the food is interesting and well cooked. The best bit was the care the sommelier/waiter gave to matching the wine and food and discussing it. Can't go wrong. Not expensive. Easy walking distance from Place Blanche or St Trinite

“Off the beaten track”
Reviewed September 4, 2012 via mobile

We stumbled upon this restaurant while following a "Time Out Book of Paris Walks" tour. It wasn't lists in the book (which is probably a good thing), but looked promising. The waiter brought over a chalk board, with our limited French we ordered a salad with sliced duck, and a chicken dish with potatoes, apples and raisin in pastry. Both were delicious. The waiter was working his butt off, making coffee at the same time that he was slicing bread. It didn't leave him a ton of time to spend with each table, but he got the job done, and we appreciated his efforts. If you are I this neighborhood stop by for lunch.
