My wife and I met Arnaud on the free walking tour of Paris put on by Sandemans (also worth checking out) and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to pay for a tour of the Louvre with him a few days later. He only brings small groups through the Louvre - there were 6 of us when we went - and he schedules the tours for down times when the museum isn't quite so packed. It was our first time at the Louvre and we were very glad that we had a tour guide. Beyond enjoying Arnaud's stories, knowledge, and anecdotes about the museum and its works, we also just enjoyed hanging out with him. It was really nice to be able to hit the main highlights of the museum without having to think too much about navigating the space (it's SO BIG). You're not going to see everything (not even close) in a 3 hour visit, but Arnaud will make sure you see the most important stuff. Highly recommended.
