I have stayed in this hotel several times and feel very much at home there. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much bother. There is now a kettle in the room which saves me bringing my own! First class location as most places are walkable although buses, metro and RER are very close to hotel. I lived in the area for 17 years and friends and relations have also enjoyed staying there. I have just come back from an 8 night stay in the hotel and discovered 2 good restaurants, one of which was recommended by the hotel - Vagenende in Boulevard St Germain and Le Bistro de Paris, 33 Rue de Lille. Would recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay in Paris. Good choice of restaurants nearby.

Dear Jacqueline,

We thank you very much for your nice comment about the Hotel du Levant and for your loyalty as you come regularly to stay with us.

Our staff is usually acknowledged for its kindness and its strong will to answer to our guests requests the best possible.

We constantly try to improve the quality of our service: to offer a kettle with tea and coffee in the room is indeed a recent amelioration we brought. We are happy it pleased you.

The Hotel du Levant has a perfect location in the centre of Paris, close to everything: transport, city sights, restaurants, shops. Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral is at 10 minutes walk only.

We are glad that the Hotel du Levant seems to be a landmark for you in Paris where you can feel like at home after having lived in the area for a long time.

We hope to welcome you at home again soon.

Best regards.

I stayed at Hotel du Levant for 6 nights and it was a gem. my room was facing the eateries and shops and i thought it will be noisy at night, as this is a tourist area. Closing the window and turning the air conditioning was the solution. The location of this hotel was extremely convenient and with a young son in tow this was an important factor to consider. The hotel staff were very friendly and patient. I will go back to this hotel if I am visiting Paris in future.

My stay was a return visit. Overall I am extremely pleased with the hotel. The room was perfectly clean including toilet/ shower. General interior was in excellent decor state, clean and bright. A very good atmosphere created by friendly and efficient staff. Having breakfast included is a bonus and the overall cost was reasonable by Paris standards. The location is superb. Hope to be back there soon. Highly recommendable.

Room Tip: Noise in early mornings from refuse collection in front rooms - so either opt for rooms facing into courtyard that has been built in or else close windows of front rooms fully at night. ( in above rating- I can't undo swimming pool or fitness centre didn't mean to click them at all as there is neither at the hotel)

I have stayed at this hotel many times for business and pleasure. It feels like home. Great location for exploring all that Paris has to offer. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. ooms are "quaint", but that is what you have to expect in Europe. I have never been a big fan of hotel Breakfasts. The great thing about the Hotel du Levant is that there are wonderful cafes right on your doorstep and around the corner.

Small, well-maintained hotel located almost at the confluence of the Boulevards Saint Germain and Saint Michel, in the bustling and explosive buzz of the Latin Quarter.
The rooms have all the basic comforts of a 3 star hotel (air conditioning, soundproofing, minibar, good mattress). The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Mr. LEO.
The Rue de La Harpe is full of small restaurants, crêperies, candy stores, mini-market.You can walk to the Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, banks of the Seine and a multitude of other places. There are 2 metro stations, a train station and bus stops for almost every neighborhood of Paris 100 m from the hotel
This hotel without luxuries or frills is my house in Paris.
