Our private tour with Pamela was GREAT! We scheduled the tour for our first day in Paris in order to acclimate ourselves to the city, understand the transportation systems and get a feel for how the Parisians live. While we had no set agenda, our goal was to avoid the touristy sites and see some places that are a little off the beaten path. Pamela absolutely delivered.
We started our tour at Notre Dame, which was a few blocks from our hotel, and while this is a major tourist attraction, it was so worth it! We couldn't believe how much knowledge we could gain after 15 minutes there with Pamela. From there, we wandered throughout the streets of Paris where we were able to visit unique places such as Cafe Procope, the oldest restaurant in Paris where Benjamin Franklin frequented. At the end of the tour, we visited a wonderful bakery where we tried some fabulous pastries and were in a great area where we could continue to explore on our own. Pamela even checked in with us via email later that day to see how we were doing.
We can't thank Pamela enough for such a great start to our trip to Paris and showing us places we never would have found on our own!
