Great location next to two metro stations which will take you everywhere. Montmartre is full of excellent places to eat and drink. It may seem a little seedy at night if you're wandering around on your own. Hostel had good facilities, including a big kitchen and good shower pressure which can be rare at hostels. The hostel is located very near to the metro and the sacre coer church and montmartre. It was quite easy to visit the city (almost every part) and coming back with the public transports. I booked a bed in a mixed dorm for 10 people with shared bathroom, they gave me instead a double bedroom with private bathroom,it was very nice of them. The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was clean. I ate almost everyday in the common kitchen and it was always clean. I liked a lot the small nook with books and big pillows, was a very comfortable place for reading in the evening. I haven't seen so many hostels until now, but I liked this one really much!

Le Regent Hostel is conveniently located next to the subway and city bike rentals. It is just down the street from the moulin rouge and the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. The Hostel itself is small, I stayed in a 4 dorm co-Ed where I shared a bathroom with others in my dorm. Rooms have their own lockers that lock but, they are small. If you want to lock up your pack there is a bigger locker area on the main floor that is coin operated. There is always someone at the front desk if you need anything.

I can't say that I am happy . I booked a 4 female bedroom with private bathroom and instead of it..they gave me a 2 bedroom but with no privacy. Also,they told me that the breakfast is not included but when I booked the room it was saying that it's included. I had to pay extra 6€/day. So I chose to eat outside. Furthermore, there was only 1 bathroom and 1 shower in my floor ... really small . One day I got stacked in this tiny shower..no window..nothing. The door was broken and nobody told me. This happened again with another girl and nobody thought to put a paper to inform us ! I felt unsafe and I was in panic, couldn't breathe. I was lucky that there was a guy close and he heard me cause I was shouting. The staff is not so friendly. Just some of them. I am kind of disappointed.

We reserved a standard room at the Regent and we were very astonished.
We got a brand new room which was just renovated, very cosy with private bathroom,
and private balcony, the real parisian experience.
it was more than a hostel...
I definitely recommend the Regent and the very team,
