I am hesitant to review this lovely little hotel as it will become more difficult to reserve when I wish to return!! Only 15 small rooms with everything one could need for a comfortable stay, we called this home for 5 days - ours was a room overlooking the side street... noise was a slight problem on one night, but when I closed the window, it became quiet. Comfortable bed, flat screen TV on the wall, full bathroom and a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water; the room decor was cheery with pretty colored walls and floral bed coverings. There is no breakfast room but we had breakfast delivered promptly to us as at 9 a.m. three mornings - we chose the healthy breakfast which included cereal, bread, yogurt, fruit, juice and cafe au lait or chocolate. The other selection included French pastries, etc. Then one other morning went out and enjoyed an omelette, bread, juice and cafe au lait ....it is easy to do either and the price was essentially the same amount. There is a small grocery across the street if one needs, bottled water, soda or fruit, etc. Also there are many, many places to dine nearby - we have been to Paris many times and have our old favorites, but we tried a new little place on Isle St Louis called "Le Relais de l'Isle" which served very good food while we enjoyed the jazz pianist. "La Corte" several doors down from the hotel had very good Italian cuisine.
The neighborhood was familiar but we had not stayed in this area before so we enjoyed poking around. We found the Market St. Honore and that became our spot for an apperitif (Ricard or Kir) daily. The hotel is about midway between Palais Royale and Place Vendome and an easy walk to the Louvre, Opera and Grand Magazins! Metro is located approx a block and a half near Tuilleries Garden.....ideal loocation for a hotel.
The staff was delightful and helpful, there is a computer in the lobby for guest's use. I recommend the hotel for anyone who wants to stay in a small Parisian hotel.

We actually stayed May of 09 but either our review was not picked up or sent incorrectly. The staff could not have been more helpful, directions, recommendations for resturants getting around town, incredible!
Clean, comfortable, we walked everywhere, so centeral to so many things.
Would be our choice going back.

I stayed at Le Relais St Honore in February with my sister in law and we found it perfect. I tossed up between this hotel and the Madelaine and in the end decided on St Honore for the location. The staff were very friendly and organised tours for us, taxis and offered restaurant advice. We were on the first floor, which I think was recently refurbished. Our room was spacious and quiet and we enjoyed the convenience of breakfast in our room on our first and last day there, but tried some of the local cafes other mornings. I highly recommend Le Cafe Marley, overlooking the Louvre Pyramid for breakfast or a coffee, just a short walk from the hotel. The style of the hotel is fresh, traditional comfort but with all modern conveniences. Good wifi in the room, excellent showers, and the bed was perfect! I slept for 9 hours on the first night there. My sister in law loves good food and dining and found the hotel well situated for local shops and restaurants. It is next door to Collete and not far from three metro stations. I like to walk, rather than rely on taxis and metro, and we were able to walk to most places, Tuileries, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tour. I will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Recommend first floor rooms.

This was a second stay at The Relais, first time in 2006. Nothing has changed it is still amazing. We spent 10 days at The Relais Saint-Honore in July this year. The location is perfect, everything worth seeing in Paris is basically within walking distance and honestly, the purpose of visiting Paris is to walk the city. The metro is steps away from the hotel for those who want access. Staff is fluent in English and are exceptionally helpful and accomodating, familiar and able to make excellent recommendations for dining, touring, etc. Ask for Marie, she is wonderful! The rooms are typically European, small by American standards but who spends time in a room in Paris? If you want to watch street life, get a room overlooking the street. There is barely any street nosie but if you don't want to hear (barely audible) morning noise, ask for a room in the back. Louvre is right around the block, close to shopping, beautiful parks, what more can we say? Two restaurants within a few blocks we recommend are Juveniles and Willies Wine Bar. Dining at the Museum D'Orsay is a must! If you want to tour Versaille don't bother booking with a tour company. Go to the train @ Museum D'Orsay first thing in the a.m. it will take you right there.

We had a great experience staying at this small, charming hotel in Paris. We stayed 5 nights. It was nice that the staff members knew our names -- even when we checked in -- and they were attentive and helpful. The room was very clean, decent size for Paris, I think, and was quiet even though the windows faced the street. We were glad that it had an elevator (we stayed on the fourth floor) but it was so tiny we could only get 1 person and 1 suitcase in it at a time!
The location was great, near the Louvre, easy walking to restaurants and patisseries, and a small market was located across the street. Would definitely like to have the opportunity to stay there again!

We stayed 4 nights in September; it was my second stay in this hotel and I would definitely choose it again and recommend to friends. The location is fantastic, very close to the Louvre and Tuilieries, on a quiet street with nice shops and cafes. The room is cozy, charming and very clean. My only complaint with the room was the flat pillows; but not a big deal since there were 4 pillows for the double bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
