This is a small bouquet hotel near the most expensive shopping area in all of Paris and yet the downsizing isn't so bad. Small lobby and entry way with fish bowls everywhere, how cool is that, compared to the Four Seasons around the corner. Small entrance but rooms that have French Windows that I kept open all day and night to adjust to the Paris weather at the time. Awesome!
Bed hard, not so American as European. We American's are so spoiled. Hard down pillows, another European favorite, but not American. The decor so French and so hipster! The bathroom large and so comfortable. Robes and slippers, always a plus. The lighting is what makes this a 6 Star Hotel for me. Atmosphere, atmosphere in the city of Paris OMG! Add a "kettle" as the locals call it to the room is a plus at no extra cost. No microwave allowed, fire code. But the kettle is comforting. Staff excellent once you get to know them. The breakfast staff is overbearing, but it's the typical for tourism. Get away and go to different subway stops. Look for the Metro sign as seen in my photos. The metro stop closest to the hotel is Alma-Marceau, 2 blocks away, a 2 minute walk. What a beautiful metro. As you enter and exit the metro you get to see the Eiffel Tower. I started having dinner at the different metro stops next to Alma-Marceau and all overlooking the Eiffel Tower. All so different and getting into the neighborhoods is so local!

Room Tip: The street front is quiet so I'm guessing any room is good. My room 326 was overlooking the inn...

We stayed here for 3 nights in early November. The hotel is very fun, hip and modern, with some old world charm. The lobby area is small but has some great seating areas for late night drinks. There is also a nice restaurant, we had a quick breakfast here but no other meals.

We stayed in a Deluxe room with queen bed. The room was very small, the smallest of any we have had in Paris. There is also way to much furniture in the room which does not help. The desk is right in front of the bathroom at the foot of the bed, so you have to be careful when you walk around the bed or enter the bathroom or you will run into the desk. Also, our feet would hit the desk as we slept since it's right up against the bed. There is also a chair and a chaise lounge that take up space that are not useful at all. Good closet space, a nice mini bar, room safe and tv.

The bed was fabulous, the best bed we have had in Paris. Very comfy, great pillows and superb bedding. The room was very quiet and we were street side. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a great view. We could see the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur.

The bathroom was probably the main low point in the stay. This is where the old world charm comes into play. The shower is ridiculous. There is a claw foot tub with the typical European hand shower, but then they have installed am over head shower as well. So to use the overhead, you stand in the tub, and the shower head is not at all adjustable. It is so close to the end of the tub, that you have to be very careful not to fall as you are slipping on the sides of the tub. Also, the water just comes from straight overhead so you can't really wash without moving away from the water. All this and then there is no shower door or curtain so the entire room gets soaked with the spray since the tub is freestanding. The faucet at the tub leaked, or rather poured out towards the wall when used so the floor to the room was soaking in water 1/2 inch deep. We had towels constantly all over the floor to speak up the water. We just laughed it off to quirky European style.

The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone wanting the busy shopping of the Champs-Elysee. The hotel is also directly behind the George V where we went for drinks nightly. What was disappointing about the areas is the lack of charm or neighborhood feel. On our last trip we loved going out every morning for coffee and croissant at a small bakery. In this areas that is not possible, only bigger restaurants exist with little to no charm. We ended up going back to the Saint Germain area to find what we were looking for for the local feel.

The staff was always very nice and helpful.

Overall we enjoyed our time here, but this hotel is quite expensive for what you get. The online photos make the rooms look much larger than they are.

My husband and I stayed at hours de Sers for 4 nights last year. The hotel is a gem in the center of Paris. Close to shops and easy access to restaurants and major attractions. Rooms are small but modern and we had a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower right in our room. The restaurants was pretty good as well as the included breakfast. Great value, service and amenities in the heart of Paris.

Very chic and luxurious hotel, close to the Eiffel Tower, the louvre and other Paris land marks.
Rooms are beautiful, large, clean, good amenities and the beds are to die for! Probably one of the best beds I have slept in, amongst the numerous hotels I have stayed in.
The staff are great, professional, efficient with the French elegance and finesse.
Wasn't too crazy about the breakfast selection, limited and too pricey in my opinion.
All the same, highly recommend this luxury hotel.

My company's travel agent recommended this hotel as our usual accommodations in Paris were sold out.

I'm glad I was put in this position or I may never have found this hotel. This hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel a few blocks off the Champs-Élysées.

Everyone from the bellman to the front desk staff was extremely courteous with a constant smile on their faces.

The rooms were nice with decent bathrooms and amenities.

My only was the cost of the rooms. I found them a little overpriced even for Paris. Other than this I love Hotel de Sers.

Nice location and staff but not worth the price in terms of luxury, size, noise or service.
When we checked in we were told that our daily rate was approx 379 Euro and that we could upgrade to the next level room for 120 Euro a night, which we did. However, it turns out that only one night was a base of 379 Euro and the others were all 579 Euro - which with an additional 120 Euro made the rooms 700 Euro a night; when, they weren't worth the 379 to begin with. Also, if we had the upgraded rooms - I shudder to think what the standard room was.
My "upgraded" room overlooked the nightclub across the street which was open until 5am nightly and which had zero control on patrons screaming outside despite two bouncers on the door - in fact, they participated in the screaming and shouting at 4 and 5 am. Beyond disappointing that the hotel could not reach an agreement with the club to exercise respect for the hotel guests.
The room was also incredibly hot - 27 degrees Celsius which, despite numerous calls and visits to the front desk, was not fixed over the course of a week.
Despite it being supposedly a non-smoking room there was an ongoing smell of cigarettes.
Also, despite housekeeping attending to the room, they did not refill the shampoo or conditioner and thus I was forced to go buy my own.
Breakfast was less than mediocre and particularly disappointing with respect to fresh bread. The menu hailed a fresh baguette; however, what was delivered was a sourdough breadstick.
The front desk personnel were lovely, though the restaurant staff not as much. None of it, however, was reason to go back to this disappointing alleged luxury hotel.

Room Tip: Second floor room overlooking the street is very noisy.
