We loved hotel le royal for our first stay in Paris. It was close to the subways and easy to get around if you bought a subway pass. There were plenty of restaurants to walk to and the morning breakfast was always delicious. Would stay here again!

The hotel is perfectly positioned around lots of restaurants (Les Bistrot des Campagnes) shops, bakeries and public transportation. The rooms are tiny but as another guest said “You’re in Paris, everything is small” The breakfast buffet is good. Very clean. But what made me write the review was LETICIA, front desk. She got us in to our room at 10:30am after our long flight we need to sleep. Thanks for that one too Leticia. It was Leticia that made our first trip to Paris memorable: she helped with tours and restaurants. She would coordinate our tours so we could take better advantage of the sites and out tile there. She speaks 4-5 languages and was always polite courteous and smiling. This is what we all look forward when traveling: someone that’s going to remove the stress. Best recommendation we the Les Bistrot des Campagnes. We had dinner three nights in a row. Happy happy happy. Gracias Leticia.

We had chosen this hotel for its' location as we were coming by train to Gare Montparnasse and it was in walking distance and were extremely happy with our choice. The staff was pleasant and helpful and spoke excellent English which was a plus for us since our French is pretty poor. Fantastic location among cafes, shops, wonderful architecture and walking distance to the Tour Montparnasse, Catacombs and Metro. Amazing Saturday morning market just a couple blocks away we enjoyed. Room was clean, updated, plenty of space and the elevator and air conditioning appreciated. Would definitely come back to this hotel again and looking forward to our next trip to Paris.

We had room 68 on the top floor. Extremely quiet and comfortable. Large enough for my family of 3. Getting anywhere was easy and relatively quick and cheap. Lots of restaurants, bars, patisseries close by. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I`d definitely stay here again.

Tip: try the fondu restaurant across Raspail. Went out of curiousity and convenience and ended up being a highlight of your visit.

Room tip: quiet yet convenient location in Paris

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. We thank you so much !
You stayed in a junior suite on the top floor. You are right it is quiet, comfortable and large enough for a family.
We are well situated in the 14th district and the hotel is surrounded by a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and metro stations.
Thank you for your nice comment regarding our staff and the breakfast.

We hope that you will stay again in our hotel for a next trip to Paris.

Yours sincerely,

The Royal's team

We had a really good experience at this hotel. We stayed here six nights on our first trip to Paris as a couple. It’s located near everything, including restaurants, cafes, Luxembourg Gardens, and it is a short can ride away from the Eiffel Tower and many more monuments and sights. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The bed was very comfortable and I have a bad back so I’m picky. The room is small but we didn’t come to Paris to stay inside a hotel room! The breakfast is charming, nothing fancy but completely adequate. The loungey area near reception is stylish and very nice for reading. The only tiny drawback was the faint urine smell in our room’s toilet area from a toilet bowl brush that wasn’t properly rinsed out. It wasn’t overpowering and in fact my wife couldn’t smell it but I can because I have a sensitive nose. The shower head was a bit tricky to get used to but after a couple times it was fine. The AC was strong. The view charming. The whole experience was very good. I recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient location!

Dear Hannah,

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us, thank you so much !

You are right our hotel is well situated and surrounded by a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and metro stations. Thank you for your comment regarding our staff and the bed. You stayed in a classic room. If you would like a room more spacious do not hesitate to book a delux room or a junior suite.
We are sorry for the toilet bowl brush and we already have mentionned it to the cleaning service. Please be advised that out front desk is opened 24 hours a day for any questions.

We hope that you will choose our hotel again for a next trip to Paris.

Best regards,

The Royal's team
