“Perfect location and very clean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

I spent 6 days in Paris and this hotel was a great, affordable, small but very clean.

The people at the desk are very courteous and they speak English and Spanish.

The hotel is very close to Luxembourg gardens, Notre Dame, St Germain area.

Room Tip: I had a room in front of the street but it is very quiet place and street.

A simple hotel within walking distance of the Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame and Marais district. The rooms are compact but clean and well-equipped. Located on a quiet street, the nearest metro is under five minutes away. The breakfast buffet is worth paying for, with cereal and yoghurts as well as the obligatory croissant. Perfect for a short stay in Paris.

We spent about ten nights (or more) at this fantastic and affordable hotel which is so well situated as to be nearly absurd. I have nothing negative to say about it. Not one thing. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating. It's not a luxury hotel by any means, but it's also pretty nice overall and has a wonderful front desk staff. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay close to the Ile-de-Citie without breaking the bank. Because of the fantastic location, we actually did get to see Notre Dame without anyone else yet there, we were able to better get around to everywhere in Paris due to its closeness to the subway stops, and we really spent quality time in the Left Bank near the Sorbonne, which is our favorite spot. It's also near to all manner of restaurants, museums, within walking distance of the Louvre (if you like to walk a bit), and near to a large supermarket and many convenience stores and such. It's up a side street that's quiet, so you can pop onto the Boul-Mich and back very readily. Also, it's near all the artsy little cinemas which are fun.

It was clean, with quiet rooms, a little quirky with an old and small elevator, and our room had a big bathroom for Paris. No room service, but no matter given the area with its million fantastic cafes and crepe spots. The front desk staff is warm and informative. We absolutely plan to stay here again when we return to Paris: it's the best bargain for this location. Also, how fabulous is the Jardin du Luxembourg? It's across the street, almost literally. I sketched there quite a bit and was just enchanted by Paris, which is of course totally enchanting, but really, being in this ideal spot did not hurt one bit.

My hat's off to the Hotel Cujas Pantheon.

Room Tip: Facing the interior courtyard for a bit more privacy since this area is pretty well-traveled.

I stayed at this hotel once in September 2012 and a second time this month. It is located right next to the stop 'Luxembourg' which is in the 5e and you can take the RER B directly from there. The prices are very interesting considering that the hotel is so well placed. Breakfast was included in my rate and there are two nice women who run the kitchen. Breakfast is classic, croissants or baguette with butter and jam, orange juice, and a hot drink. When I was running late to work they even made a makeshift to go bag for me. There is an elevator to access the rooms, which are small but clean.

This little gem of a property is located right in the center of Paris in the St Germaine area, around the corner from the Sorbonne and the on the fringe of the Latin Quarter. It's conveniently located near the metro and and close to all of the major attractions. The staff speaks English and are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spotlessly clean but very small. We are tall people and could barely navigate around each other in the standard double room. The receptionist was kind enough to upgrade us to triple room which was more on par size wise with what we used to here in the US. We were upgraded due to noisy construction taking place on the street outside the hotel and because it was low season so rooms were available. I highly recommend this property!

Do not bother with breakfast for 7 Euros as you can do better going to a cafe or coffee shop.

Room Tip: As of February 2013 there is much construction on the street outside the hotel so ask for a room in...

This was a nice little hotel and very easy to get to. From CDG Airport we got the RER B train which dropped us at Luxembourg Met station, then it’s a minute walk to the hotel which is on the Rue Cujas. It’s on a small street which is a little dinghy to be honest, but there is an Irish bar on this street which has happy hour from 5pm until 9 or 10, and very close to lots of other bars and nice restaurants, and close to the Pantheon (an under rated but must see sight in Paris).

Staff were very friendly and spoke English. The rooms are very small, but this is common in Paris, and it’s not a city you visit to sit in your hotel room! The bathroom was a nice size though, very clean and bright and had a great bath and shower.

Breakfast again is basic, but myself and my husband liked to eat out at the amazing French restaurants at night, and found that we didn’t want anything more than a croissant and roll at breakfast. It’s worth noting as well that they don’t charge you for the breakfast until check out, so if you don’t want it on the morning then you don’t have to have it and won’t have wasted your money.

This isn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it’s good value, clean and friendly and well located for the Pantheon, Notre Dame, and Latin Quarter restaurants. The Louvre and Musee D’Orsay are a 20 minute walk away but the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe and Camps Elysees are a good hour walk as they are the other side of Paris so you may be better off jumping on the Metro for those.

Small but very comfortable room with nice bathroom in a great location 2 minute walk to Luxembourg garden and Luxembourg station. Close to everything. Very nice people at the desk. We would stay there again.
