I stayed at this hotel once in September 2012 and a second time this month. It is located right next to the stop 'Luxembourg' which is in the 5e and you can take the RER B directly from there. The prices are very interesting considering that the hotel is so well placed. Breakfast was included in my rate and there are two nice women who run the kitchen. Breakfast is classic, croissants or baguette with butter and jam, orange juice, and a hot drink. When I was running late to work they even made a makeshift to go bag for me. There is an elevator to access the rooms, which are small but clean.

This little gem of a property is located right in the center of Paris in the St Germaine area, around the corner from the Sorbonne and the on the fringe of the Latin Quarter. It's conveniently located near the metro and and close to all of the major attractions. The staff speaks English and are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spotlessly clean but very small. We are tall people and could barely navigate around each other in the standard double room. The receptionist was kind enough to upgrade us to triple room which was more on par size wise with what we used to here in the US. We were upgraded due to noisy construction taking place on the street outside the hotel and because it was low season so rooms were available. I highly recommend this property!

Do not bother with breakfast for 7 Euros as you can do better going to a cafe or coffee shop.

Room Tip: As of February 2013 there is much construction on the street outside the hotel so ask for a room in...

This was a nice little hotel and very easy to get to. From CDG Airport we got the RER B train which dropped us at Luxembourg Met station, then it’s a minute walk to the hotel which is on the Rue Cujas. It’s on a small street which is a little dinghy to be honest, but there is an Irish bar on this street which has happy hour from 5pm until 9 or 10, and very close to lots of other bars and nice restaurants, and close to the Pantheon (an under rated but must see sight in Paris).

Staff were very friendly and spoke English. The rooms are very small, but this is common in Paris, and it’s not a city you visit to sit in your hotel room! The bathroom was a nice size though, very clean and bright and had a great bath and shower.

Breakfast again is basic, but myself and my husband liked to eat out at the amazing French restaurants at night, and found that we didn’t want anything more than a croissant and roll at breakfast. It’s worth noting as well that they don’t charge you for the breakfast until check out, so if you don’t want it on the morning then you don’t have to have it and won’t have wasted your money.

This isn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it’s good value, clean and friendly and well located for the Pantheon, Notre Dame, and Latin Quarter restaurants. The Louvre and Musee D’Orsay are a 20 minute walk away but the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe and Camps Elysees are a good hour walk as they are the other side of Paris so you may be better off jumping on the Metro for those.

The most helpfull, kind and english-speaking reception one can find in Paris! All of the receptionist were perfect (rare for French).
Small rooms, doesn't worth to pay for breakfast (1 piece of bread, 1 croissant, marmelade, butter and honey)

Hotel Cujas Pantheon is without a doubt the best value hotel in Paris.

Location location location! It is located in the middle of the Latin Quarter with the RER and Metro station close by. My favourite place in Paris is Jardin du Luxembourg which is a short walk away. A 10-15 min walk in any direction will take you to areas filled with restaurants, bars and cafes. There are lots of tourist sights within walking distance including Le Pantheon, Saint Sulpice Church, Jardin du Luxembourg. If you need to travel further a field then transport is very easy with a few metro lines within walking distance.

The hotel itself is more like a 3 star than 2 star. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and recently been refurbished. The reception staff all speak English and are very helpful.

I have recommended this hotel to many friends and family. I was worried my sister might not like it as she can be a bit of a snob but even she liked it :) I highly recommend this hotel for anyone that wants great value.

We ended up staying at this hotel by accident having had our booking elsewhere cancelled at the last minute and Anne, the person in reception, saved the day. She was so kind and patient with us while we tried to sort out the problem with the other booking and when we could not solve it she gave us a lovely room with breakfast. If she had not been so nice the whole Paris experience would have been awful. The room was fantastic as well, very central and quiet.

Room Tip: The courtyard rooms do not have a bath but they are bigger and better.

Dear guests,
Thank you very much for your kind message. In France we say that « Le client est Roi » (The Customer is a king…). It’s important for us to offer a nice « Souvenirs of Paris »… or at very least, our smile and tradition of french hospitality. We wish you a merry Christmas !
Best Regards
