“Love the area”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

Full of great shops and little restaurants. Place des Vosges is one of the nicest squares in Paris. Get lost in rue du Temple, rue Rambuteau, discover the old Jewish quarters and shop, the Picasso museum...

“The gay center of Paris”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

A very interesting mix of outrageous gay boutiques and bars and history of Paris. Apparently this is the `it` part of Paris where Parisians also come to hang out, not only tourists.

“Amazing area go Paris”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

We spent our first visit to Paris staying in the Le Marais arrondissement for 6 nights. It's an incredible area and will definitely return one day. The shopping & dining here is terrific. We spent many hours wandering around - and don't forget to check out all the little side streets - you'll be surprised at all that you find. It's also a great base to get to most of the top tourist destinations, an easy walk down to the river and also within a stroll of 2 metro train stations. There's everything from your high end shops to street stalls. The local produce and flower markets were also amazing. The local boulangeries produced the most amazing croissants and there's also a Monoprix Supermarket for all those types of necessities.

“Vibrant area with lots to offer”
Reviewed February 12, 2014

Definitely worth an afternoon. We spent about 3 hours wandering round the shops and soaking up the atmosphere. Make sure you go down the side streets as most of our favourite shops were off the beaten track.
