You wonder what you will see in Marais ? So many reasons to come here, one of the oldest streets of Paris are here, the Jewish culture neighborhood are here too. Great Falafel dishes, great restaurants, old and small streets full of charm, come here to walk around , get into stores, find bargains.........Just come !

“A step away from the beaten path.”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Walking from le Quartier Latin, via le Notre Dame and le centre Pompidou, you cannot but notice that at le Marais you once again see People from Paris. Wheras in the forementioned areas you se only tourist (I am not a tourist, I am a traveller). Le Marais has an abundance of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurant. You can eat world famous Kebabs in the jewish part of the area or visit one of the many gay bars.

“Definitely go on Sunday!”

Everywhere else is quiet and closed but not here. Had brunch at a sidewalk cafe called le favorite and then off to Victor Hugos house for a free tour. Just walked around and bought chocolate and browsed the art etc..great day! Took the metro to get there and back and no problems.
