“Great location, spacious room and friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

Having stayed before on a business trip, I returned here with my wife on a holiday visit. Stayed for a week and found the location ideal for all we wanted to do in Paris. The room included separate sitting- and bed-rooms and a huge renovated bathroom. Breakfasts were good but I suggest using the a la carte instead of the pre-paid menu. Along with reasonable room tariffs, this presents good value in a location that is hard to match.

Pros.
Extremely nice and courteous staff, location, cost.

Cons
The rooms. You can get a broom closet or a suite. They are aging but it has charms. For leasure I guess it is ok, for work it is not convenient.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room before .

Pros
- got the suite as pictured on Trip Advisor; likely the best room in the hotel
- tremendous space and storage; clean room
- helpful and bilingual staff all around!
- walking distance to the Opera Garnier, Galleries Lafayette, Printemps, cafes, bakeries, Monoprixs, cross-stitch store, Paul, Eric Kayser, Midores, La Madeleine, rue Rivoli, obelisk and 20-30 minutes to the Louvre
- free and effective wake-up calls
- mini-bar, LCD TV, electric kettle, glasses, extra pillow and sheets, small lift
- sofabed was pre-made for our arrival
- breakfast is an option in the hotel
- our room opened onto the street and had a modest balcony with flowers on it (but most of the other rooms do not have balconies or street views)

Neutral
- atypical, rowdy party on the street kept some of us up one night
- 6 floors plus "0" in the hotel; lift only goes up to #5 and so you need to walk up/down one flight
- no lunch or dinner facilities in the hotel
- wi-fi is free but you have to get a code from the lobby at least daily; code is supposed to be good for up to 24 hours but not always

Cons
- hair dryer felt slimy
- housekeeping a bit intrusive at first but was resolved satisfactorily
- box of tissues for the room would have been nice

All The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned everyday and were exceptionally donel, particularly as I was traveling with two messy children. The room and bathroom was quite spacious and it was a very peaceful location close to Madeleine Metro and within walking distance to champs élysées, the arc and concord plaza. I would gladly stay here again. Wifi was annoying in that you had to keep logging in with new login details every day but overall Good value for your money.

This is our sixth time at the hotel and we absolutly love it. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful at all times during our stay. The room we stayed was always clean and had a wonderful Parisian view to the street. Great location near Madeleine Church and Rue St Honore. Looking forward to choose the hotel next time.Family from Buenos Aires, Argentina

This was our fifth visit to France and each time we have stayed somewhere different in Paris - not any more. We'll be back at Hotel Concortel for sure! It's a little gem in a great location and has very friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, nice bathroom and quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The Metro is close as is the bigger train station. Everything a tourist would need is available. The only negative was that on our first day we requested an iron so I could iron my husband's suit trousers and shirt for two business meetings with a few hours of our arrival and it never appeared.

We stayed here for two nights and having stayed at other Parisian hotels in the past, this one came as a pleasant surprise. The room we had was large in comparison to the little box rooms that i have stayed in Paris hotels.
The location is great..it is on one of the better streets of the 8th districts, close to many restaurants, walking distance to shops and a shopping mall and metro stations.
The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast a bit expensive for what you get, but the freshly squeezed orange juice is a bonus :)
Staff is extremely courteous and very helpful, they can't do enough for you. Thais goes for the bellman to the restaurant and reception staff. The tall gentleman in glasses (sorry didn't take your name) was very helpful at checking in when we asked for a room change. Thank you to Yanik..too, the other receptionist - your service was par excellence.
We will certainly stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: We suggest a room with two beds, as these are very spacious and almost suite like.
