This is a lovely quaint hotel very near Place de la Republique. It is just 30 mins walking distance from Pont Nuef and Notre Dame, and 15 mins stroll will take you to the Pompidou Centre.
Our room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was lovely (coffee, orange juice, croissants and bread rolls). All in all it was great value! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Loved everything from the welcome (merci Herve) and all was as we expected it would be, room was a good size for 3 of us travellers and the bathroom a good size too which was a pleasant surprise as continental bathrooms can often be minute afterthoughts (read converted wardrobe), church bells from next door rang out from about 9am and were lovely, our windows opened to a far off view of Tour Eiffel and closer view of old church next door and a typical Parisian street scene, close to some good eateries and the Republique and Temple Metro lines. Quiet room, clean and safe. Quaint lift that fits in 1 person and 1 suitcase but a whole lot better than lugging said suitcases up numerous stairs. Luggage can be held if you have a later flight too which was excellent.

One small annoyance - we 3 caught a cab from Charles De Gaul and were offered a transfer from the hotel back to CDG for roughly the same price, but when it turned up it was a shuttle bus and we were 3rd pick-up of 5. by the time you wend your way thru back streets and pick up extra passengers and get their luggage in, for the same # of euros and a quicker trip, you can get a taxi and go straight to your required terminal. just a thought ...

Hint : If you are using the Metro a bit over a couple of days - purchase 10 tickets in one, can be shared amongst others in your group and works out cheaper.

Room Tip: Higher floor and church side of building - maybe you too can see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night.

Comfortable, clean, lift. Older, modernized. Great location. Two minute walk to Temple metro, five minutes to Republique metro. Great little brasserie across the street. The concierge is most helpful with metro and suggesting attractions. Breakfast room in basement for good optional continental breakfast. Wi-fi, but not always reliable. Recommended. I will stay here again.

I stayed at the Paris France Hotel for one night in May 2014. I booked a single and found the room to be quite good. It was not fancy but very clean and the bed was comfortable with a nice Duvet covering. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom but this is common in some hotels in France (it didn't bother me).

Some other reviewers have pointed out the church bells that ring on the hour. This is true, but not at night, and u found the bells to be wonderful.

My room was not ready when I arrived early in the morning. When I came back at noon, it was ready and the staff had already delivered my suitcase to my room!

There's the Temple metro stop just around the corner and Place de la République metro just up the street. Also a Monoprix store around the corner.

This is a nice budget hotel and a great value for the price.

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel. Lots of architectural charm. As with many older properties, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. There are the barest of amenities, hair dryer, towels and soap so you should bring other toiletries such as shampoo and lotion. The elevator is small-2 persons max so be prepared to walk up and down the stairs at times. Also beat to ask for a room at the back of the hotel if the street noise bothers you. We did not find it to be a problem, but some may.

Three metro stops are quite close to the hotel so it's easy to get around the city.

I recommend the various boulangeries in the neighborhood for breakfast- the one served at the hotel is not up to Paris standards.

If you are planning on travelling around Paris and only using your room for showering and sleeping, then Hotel Paris France is good enough to do the job.

Don't expect luxury because this isn't what the hotel caters for.

I stayed in Paris France hotel last March and was absolutely satisfied. I had a room that faces the main street, I enjoyed watching the sunset from the large window! The location is great, just walking distance from Temple station, across is a restaurant/cafe, at the back there's a post office (convenient for me because I love sending postcards!). The staff are courteous and helpful and they helped me getting round the city and metro. The lift is tiny but interesting. I will definitely book here again the next time I visit Paris!

Room Tip: Get the rooms facing the main street if you like taking pictures. You'll catch a great sunset sh...
