My wife and I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. Great location. Very close to three metro stops and plenty of great restaurants. We stayed in a triple room which was a decent size and very clean. The staff was amazing. Especially Christelle. Not only did she call a cab for us to get to the airport she also checked on our flight for us and got our terminal info which was very helpful!
The price was very reasonable. We hope to return to Paris someday and we will definitely stay here again!

Luckily, we read through the TripAdviosr reviews and found positive comments about this 2 star hotel in the center of Paris. Normally, we would avoid a two star hotel in a big city, but had faith in some of the other reviews, and were not disappointed. The hotel is immaculately clean, everywhere! Carpets, stairs, walls, and furnishing are all extremely well maintained. The desk staff feel like family friends, day or night. We took a triple room to fit our adult daughter, and had plenty of space. The bathroom worked very well, and although the shower was in a tub, there was no overspray, and plenty of hot water.

The elevator is very small, and runs up the inside of a neat spiral staircase. Rather than see it as a disadvantage, we thought it was quaint, and contributed to the uniqueness of the hotel. The elevator has been upgraded with a modern glass door and worked perfectly.

There is a small store about a block away which was open late at night. There was an excellent cafe that you find by leaving the hotel front door, turning left, then left again to enter the spacious alley, and crossing the street at the end of the alley. I think the name on the cafe awning was Comput, or something similar. Excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. The hotel serves a continental breakfast for six Euros, but we were interested in more food so only ate there once.

We used the "nearby" garage for one night to park our VW seven passenger rental van. That was an adventure, as the garage is decades old, and the spaces really designed for much smaller cars. There were some BMWs and Mercedes Benz there as well, and when I tried to assure my wife that we were fine sticking out from our assigned space a foot or two, she pointed out that the Mercedes front end had been clipped somewhere, some time? I should add that we checked in late in the evening, and the hotel desk receptionist was very careful to look over the size of our van, and then really explain that it would be trickily getting it in. I saw it as an adventure, and once we figured it out, it was a snap. The security on the garage is very good, and you feel like you are descending into the 1940's driving down into the lower levels.

I spend a lot of time writing a review for a two star hotel, but the owners and employees of Paris France Hotel deserve the accolades. They run a very good operation, and you will be hard pressed to find a cleaner hotel.

Room Tip: Fairly small selection of rooms, as this isn't a large building. We stayed in a triple and had...

We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Paris-France and it was fabulous. Christelle and all the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable about local attractions and transport options. We felt very welcomed by everyone we met. The room (8th floor) was very clean and large and served us well. The bathroom was also a good size and toasty warm - complete with heated towel rack. Nice view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Yes, the bells from the church next door rang regularly but only between 9am and 9pm so did not disturb us at all. Wi-fi access was reliable and easy - and no problems using the hotel PC and printing our tgv tickets etc. breakfast was good value - basic but good. Excellent location - close to metro, restaurants, monoprix supermarket and laundromat. Metro got us to Louvre, Bastille, Opera district but also walkable - we did both. We would definitely stay here again. Merci beau coup.

Room Tip: If staying on 8th floor you need to take 1 small flight of stairs as lift only goes to 7th floor.

Lovely little hotel near several Metro stops. And also next door to a church with a wickedly active belfry. Although the bells did wake us up on several occasions, by the end of our 6 night stay, we kind of grew to love them. (We did sleep with the windows open. Perhaps with windows closed you would not be able to hear them.) Hotel is very clean, quaint, and staffed with friendly and helpful front desk personnel. Soap is provided, but not shampoo/sponge/washcloth/loofah so you'll want to bring those with you (or buy at Metroprix around the corner). We stayed in a triple room that had a bath tub with hand held shower and no shower curtain, which got a bit messy until we got the hang of it. Internet access is quite spotty throughout the hotel. Strong signal is available in the lobby, though. Great little hotel for the price.

This small hotel is perfectly located ...not quite walking distance to all the big tourist attractions like the Louvre etc. but only a few stops away on the Metro. The price was a lot less than other hotels we looked at that were located similarly close to the centre of the city. Situated only a couple of blocks from the Republic Square -- a great neighbourhood with lots of small, good restaurants. We felt safe walking around. The rooms are small and quite plain but adequate, comfortable and clean. The front desk reception area is cosy, the staff very helpful about where to go in the neighbourhood to eat. It has the traditional tiny --very tiny -- elevator but we were very grateful that we did not have to hump our bags upstairs. we would definitely stay there again.

A group of friends stayed here over the new year in 4 different rooms. Only one of the rooms was unsatisfactory but was changed immediately when another room became available. The rooms were all spotlessly clean, the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant and the hotel was very convenient for Place de Republique metro station. Although only a two star hotel it was a great place to stay in a lovely location. Lots of places near by to have breakfast if you prefer not to have the hotel breakfast.

What more can you want. We stayed for only one night in a triple room (Nr. 36 - 3rd floor) which was perfect for what we need. Spotless clean room. Even though it is close to the "La République" esplanade, the hotel was very quiet. The receptionist (a very friendly lady) helped us to book a table on New Year's eve in the brasserie "Chez Jenny". All questions on metro and similar were answered in a very professional way. I often stay in Paris and is a new hotel I found and I will be visiting it more frequently. It is a 2-star hotel, so so do not expect a mini-bar or coffee machine and similar. No 5 bottles of shampoo or lotion. Just soap, but hey, that does the job !!
