We spent 4 days here in October and enjoyed everyday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy walking to the Louvre and Notre Dame and is between 2 metro stops, Temple and Arts et métiers which makes getting around the city very easy. The room may be a little worn but it was clean and quiet and the bed is very comfortable. If you want English TV read the instructions on the desk, we didn’t find them until the last day. There is a small elevator which was important because our room was on the 7th floor. Or you can get a workout walking up the circular stairs. There are many places to eat in the neighborhood, la Massara is not to be missed (fabulous pasta and pizza), but pass on My Favorite across the street, the food was only adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to go back soon.

This hotel is fabulous. The staff are wonderfull helpul and polite. The rooms are extremely clean and beds superbly comfortable. Stayed up in the garret on floor 8. From our window could see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the little chimney pots of many apartment buildings. For a first timer it was bliss. The hotel is convenient for both Temple and Republic Metro lines. The Monoprix with its lovely helpful staff is around the corner and so many wonderful sights are within walking distance. The curch next door stopped ringing around nine but, after a few days, we didn't even notice. Our room was small with only a shower but, for the view, who cares. Thank you Cristalle and staff for a wonderful introduction to my new favourite city.

Room Tip: Room 80, a twin with the best views.

We had a very bad start with Paris France Hotel. We arrived at about 6:30 pm and was informed that a "temporary" staff messed up and that only 2 of the 4 rooms we reserved were available for the first of our 2 nights. We were a party of 8. Four of my companions were booked to another hotel about 3 blocks away. The replacement hotel (a few Euros cheaper) was quite sub-standard which is ranked close to 1,000 in tripadvisor. My friends were not happy. The sad part is that they knew way ahead of time that 2 rooms will not be available.

The dilemma in rating comes into play as the Paris France Hotel itself is very good. I have searched extensively for hotels in Paris considering location, price and quality. I came up with Paris France Hotel.

They upgraded 3 of the the 4 rooms from a standard to a de luxe as a token for those affected. The manager (?) said that he would personally apologize before we left for the airport but he did not show up : (

I would recommend this hotel if they can guarantee their customers that they will not be bumped-off.

My rating would have either been 1 star for the major booboo or 5 stars for the good aspects of the hotel. This is the compromise.

Dear Guest,

We thank you for having taken the time to write here your comments about your stay at Paris France Hotel.
We really must apologize for the inconvenience occurred at the beginning of your arrival concerning 2 rooms. We tried to do the best in a short time to book 2 rooms in an other hotel (same category like our hotel) close by for the first night. We made an upgrade of 3 rooms for you and a discount for the 2 rooms, we really tried to do the best to satisfy your friends.

Please rest assured that those situations are very much regretted and are certainly not representative of our standard of service.

Nevertheless, we will be pleased and we do hope to welcome you back here in a not too distant future.

Yours sincerely,
Christelle

We have just stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Paris France on rue de Turbigo in the Marais district. The Temple Metro station is just a few feet away, also the Republique station is close by. As other readers have said, pharmacy, Monoprix grocery stores and many eateries close by.

Our room was on the top floor, #86, quiet, clean, comfortable, but small. No refridgerator or minibar....The bar downstairs in the lobby closed down a couple of years ago. No laundry onsight, but laundromat around the corner. Bathroom is simple. Nice size tub, shower handle is removable from wall, but not attached high, so no hands free showering under the water stream! Small bars of soap provided, ask for shampoo if you need it. No other toiletries are available.

Everyone at the front desk very helpful, especially Cristalle and Hamid (Amin). We paid 140 euros per night for a double bed room. Prices will vary according to season and type of room.

Our room location was overlooking a small quiet street and a church. We were not disturbed by street noise at any time. Most noise came from the maids cleaning! Yesterday the maid walked in on me without even knocking! Can happen anywhere I guess. All in all, a very nice stay in a very convenient location.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights only and, thanks to other reviewers' comments, it was exactly as we hoped for. It was in a very convenient location, close to Metro stations for general access and was also within reasonable walking distance from many main tourist attractions. There were plenty of places to eat nearby as well. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room we booked as a double was very spacious even though there were three beds in it. It was on the 2nd floor and had a nice view of a typically French street: busy but not too noisy for sleep, even though I am a light sleeper as a rule. The bed was kingsize and very comfortable. Both the room and the ensuite, which had a small bath with a very good shower over, were spotlessly clean and were cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided.

It's worth mentioning that although soap was provided in the bathroom, there were no other toiletries. We had brought our own but I think that most travellers might expect at least a basic shower wash of some kind. However, the cleanliness and comfort plus the welcome were worth more than anything else.

We only took breakfast there on our second night and thought it was pleasant and good value for money again. It was priced a 6 Euros which provided a glass of orange juice, a fresh bread roll, a croissant, butter, jam and honey and plenty of fresh tea or coffee and a smile from our waitress.

We would certainly stay there again and would recommend to family and friends.

Great location, we walked most places but the two Metro stations nearby will get you anywhere you need to go. Pharmacy, cafes, supermarket etc all nearby. The rooms we stayed in (2 stops) were a reasonable size, clean and tidy. Finally can't say eenough of he staff, very friendly and helpful. Made the trip all the more enjoyable including putting up with our attempts at French.

Quite simply perfect. Ample sized, clean, tidy, pleasantly decorated room, helpful, attentive, competent staff in a suberb location at a reasonable rate. A an easy to remember name! What more could you ask for (as long as you don't expect a pool, gym, 5 restaurants and a sea view)?

Room Tip: No problem with street facing rooms- double glazing kept the noise out.
