I've stayed at this hotel before and thought it was okay. This time, however, it wasn't so good. The room they gave me was tiny. There is no lift so if you get put on the 3rd or 4th floor, you may have a hard time carrying heavy bags up and down. But what really irked me and led me to write this negative review was the rudeness of the staff. The guy who works the night shift seems to view the hotel's customers with complete contempt. I definitely won't be staying here again.

The Hotel is situated extremely close to the metro and only took us 40 mins to get to from the Airport. The rooms are small but fitted out to a high standard. The only downfall with the rooms is the "portable Air-con" which is misleading on the hotel inventory. The hotel is ideal from sleeping in. The 2 metro stations very close to the Hotel give you easy access to many of the sites in France, and with the reliable train system, you can see many sites over a short space of time. There is a wonderful bistro directly across the road from the Hotel which serves wonderful french food. For those who want something English, there is another restaurant on the next corner which provides an English menu, so should you want a bit of Steak, chicken etc etc you can. We spent 2 nights at the Hotel and had no problems with the Hotel one bit. The staff are a bit dull and not very talktative, but we only slept there so did not really care. We also found a supermarket around the corner and found purchasing snacks from here was better than paying the for drinks and snacks throughtout the day. Hope this helps anybody thinking of staying here. (we got a great deal for flights and Hotel, 2 nights, 3 days with lastminute.com)

I like staying in a small classic French hotel. The only downfall was that we were on the top floor and there is no elevator. The rooms are very small compared to American standards, but I found this is pretty similar throughout most countries. Besides we were never at the hotel but to sleep. Very good location for restaurants but will need to catch a cab to see any sites. Overall I enjoyed me stay.

My friend booked this hotel for a girls weekend in Paris as part of a combined Eurostar and Hotel deal (£200 per person). After checking out some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was polite, our room was clean and nicely done, and the towels were excellent! It is Paris so the room was cosy, but we couldn’t find fault with anything. For the price range and city I give it an above average rating.

I travel on Business about 200 days a year and this is the first time I thought I should write a review because the website shows nice pics and pricing doesn't match what you actually get....

Yes this hotel has had some refubishing in the bath rooms and breakfast area but the rooms are so small you can touch 3 walls at the same time standing up...!

A few other bad points Doesn't have a lift... so pack lite
Breakfast is rolls and coffee... I've had better breakfast in hostels..! Cheap Foam Mattress beds... and Cheap bedding
Shower head was blocked up... not cleaned for years...
When cancelling your stay the staff think they can charge you for the whole stay..... as if...!

Good points.... well it is next to a Metro station and there is some little cafes nearby... I have stayed in worse hotels... but not many ...

If you want to stay in that area in a better small refurbished hotel stay here "Porte de Versailles Hotel" thats where I am staying now...

I think this hotel is worth 40 euro a night max...

Hope this helps someone out there
