If cheap, reliable, clean and friendly accommodation is what you're looking for, then this place is for you! It IS a small place, so some people may feel cramped, but if you book ahead, they will try to accommodate you as well as possible. Breakfast is the same every day, but hey - for the price it's great! Staff is friendly and location convenient. No frills, but it has all you need for your stay, including an elevator! :)

Room Tip: Book on the phone and ask all you want to know.

Pros:
Location is good, especially if you are coming in or leaving on eurostar. About 10 min walk from Gare du Nord. Decent sized room. Chocolate croissant given during breakfast is good.

Cons:
Service lacked. Although the night person is fairly pleasant, the woman that works during the day is just horrible with customer service.
Asking a question is like insulting her. The response would be so rude and uncalled for. There are 3 floors with 2 showers. While we were there one floor wasn't working. Also the water at this hotel left my hair feeling gunky as if I had gel in it. Other tourists didn't seem to have this issue leading me to believe it was just the hotel. As soon as we left and showered elsewhere problem was solved.
Walls are very thin so if you happen to have noisy neighbors you'll hear it. The street/area is noisy well into the night. If you keep your window closed it isn't too much of an issue however the room gets too warm.
No hair dryer available.
The free breakfast is served to you which takes much too long. It consists of a chocolate croissant, a baguette w/butter or jam and coffee/juice.

*Please note that even though this is called a hotel it is actually a hostel.

Stayed in a very tiny 2 person room with a private bathroom that had a shower, sink and toilet. The room was very claustrophobic and my 6'4 boyfriend found it very hard to walk from one side of the room to the other without hitting his head on the very low slopped ceilings. Found the bed to be quite uncomfortable but the sheets were clean, the blankets however, were questionable. There is no AC in the rooms so you had to keep the windows open at night and there would be people talking and shouting outside all night long and the smell of cigarette smoke would constantly drift in.

There is a communal kitchen that has two fridges where you can store drinks and food. No stove or oven, only a microwave.

Locations is ok. Located closed to Sacre Coeur in the neighbourhood of Montmartre. About 10 minute walk to Gare du Nord. However, Gare du Nord is quite far north and it takes quite a while to get to Central Paris so coming back to the hotel during the day and going out again at night is not very convenient.

The room was clean enough, but very tiny (for 3 people), hard beds and not the best location. There was a basin the room, but you had to go to the toilet down the hall, and the shower was on another floor all together. The balcony was good so that you didn't feel too claustrophobic, plus we got to meet the neighbours when they hung out of their balcony. Once again, you get what you pay for - cheap and semi-cheerful.

Decent, clean and with a very lovely balcony! Good for the price. Staffs are very helpful. my wallet got stolen during easter break, even they dont have extra room but they always try to help. They knew I was out of cash, the receptionist offered me to stay at a cheaper room for myself only. That's just so sweet. Telling me what I can do to get back a visa, and how to avoid the pickpocketing. I stayed there for 4 nights. They made me feel better and safe!!!!!!!!!! 10 mins away from MONMARTE or Anvers Metro.

We stayed for 3 nights on this hotel/hostel. The location is quite good, nice neighbourhood with some shops around where to buy food, and not very far away from the Sacre Coeur, the train station of Gare du Nord, some underground stations and many must-see spots.

The furniture of our room was quite old. We had a sink in the room for personal use, but the shower and bathroom were shared with other rooms in the corridor. They weren't very clean after all people using them during the whole day. The room had a very little balcony facing the street. Nice views, and not very noisy. It's not a hotel where to spend the whole day relaxing, we mainly used it as a base where to easily explore Paris.

Breakfast was included in the price, but was very simple: a bad coffee, juice, croissant, and bread with jam.

The stuff in the reception were always kind to help and advise where to get to most of places. They also let us keep our luggage for some hours after we did the check out.

I would only recommend this hotel to people travelling with a tight budget. Comparing to other places in Paris it had a good price, and it's located in a good point, so you will save a good money by walking.

I stayed in this hotel with a few friends of mine recently and would have to say that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Our trip consisted of one night in Paris, followed by three nights in Rome, and ending back in Paris for two nights. The first day we arrived, they didn't have the room they had confirmed we would receive due to "renovations." I had booked the rooms a month in advance. We wanted a private room with a private shower and they gave us a private room without a private shower. When we checked out the community bathrooms, they were disgusting - very unclean. The room itself was okay, but the sheets were dirty and had hairs still on them so it was obvious they either hadn't been changed or weren't washed very well.

When we returned for our second stay a few days later, they had a private room with a private shower for us. However, the sound of the water pipes was loud and awful. Anytime someone uses the community toilet or shower, the pipes next to our room shrieked loudly. Sleep was practically impossible. There were gaps in the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower and when you were in there, you could hear every word the people next door were saying.

The free breakfast was little more than a few pieces of bread, coffee, and juice. I didn't expect much since the price was so cheap but felt that I could have stayed somewhere nicer for the same price. We stayed at Hotel Colors in Rome, which was the same price per night for a private room with a private shower, and absolutely loved it! So, it's not impossible to find a nice place for a cheap price...but Hotel Perfect is not one of them.
