Hotel de la Felicite

Great hotel for the money we paid, considering that Paris is very expensive for both accommodation and food in general. The hotel is situated down a quiet one way street in a central district and is easily accessed via the Metro system. Hotel de la Felicitie offers basic, clean accommodation and a continental breakfast included in the price. The room was small but plenty of storage space was provided along with a small bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were knowledgeable regarding the tourist attractions and the best way to access them. Overall a good basic hotel with nothing more and nothing less than you would expect from a 2 star B&B in Paris.

The accommodation was more or less ok. But when I arrived, I had figured out that they did not have my reservation (as it figured out later - the hotel had simply LOST it). They have suggested the room (for higher price than in made reservation) for 2 out of 5 nights I had reserved and after that I had to change the hotel. Really had a lot of problems due to that lost reservation, which really spoiled the whole impression from Paris. Thus really would not recommend this hotel or if You stay there - check Your reservation in advance from the hotel. (If You manage to do that - seems they do not use the email at all)

ive just come back from a trip to paris with my boyfriend. it was a budget holiday, so i booked the cheapest hotel i could find online. i was very worried as i'd read that parisian hotels can be tiny with shared bathrooms etc. when we arrived on check-in i was so surprised, the lobby was lovely. our room was basic but clean, but even better the room was en suite with a bath and shower. we had a nice flatscreen tv and good linen. the room was a good size and overlooked the quiet street. breakfast (included) was basic but what more could you want, we were very happy with bread rolls and coffee every morning before we set off. location is good, its about 15-20 min walk to arc de triomph, but bus stops and metro all nearby. the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful for the week we stayed, they helped us with anything we asked and all had good english. the only downside unfortunately was that there was a house being renovated behind the building and we were woken every morning at 8am by loud drills and hammers. overall this hotel was very good value for money and if i was going back to paris i'd definately stay here again

Hotel de la Felicite is nicely situated on a quiet side street. It is a short walk to public transportation. The rooms are clean but small. What makes this place stand out from the rest is the excellent staff. They are used to travelers who need help and advice and then are super friendly. Only negative is that the breakfast is overpriced for what you get.

When I booked, I knew it wasn't going to be luxurious. For 69 Euros a night you can not expect too much but still...!
We were given the room 1 which is on the ground floor next to the lift !! There are two doors to separate the room from the reception but they are in very thin wood so at 7 am, that was the end of the night for us ... it was like being in the middle of the dining room and the reception : very very noisy !! Plus the lift that does not stop going up and down...The weird receptionist shouted at her colleague just next to our window, still at 7am...! So not very happy. DO NOT ACCEPT THE ROOM 1 !!
When I asked for another room, I think they thought we were fussy ... but didn't get another room...so we stayed...
Apart from that, it is clean. The shower isn't perfect but OK. The area is great, lovely bakery a few minutes away.

Stayed for three nights in this hotel last September. Thought I had booked a twim roo m online (it really wasn't clear), but turns out it was in fact a triple room with a double and one single bed. As there were just two of us, this apparently "puzzled" the staff upon receiving the booking, but instead of making any attempt to contact us in advance, they simply waited until we arrived and then told us they had changed our room to a smaller one with one small double bed. We were to be charged the same price and no apologies were made. The hotel was also fully booked for the next three nights (the duration of our stay) so there wasn't even the option of moving to any sort of a room with two seperate beds. This, was, I strongly suspect the reason we were moved without notification in the first place - the proprietors simply wanted to maximise the intake of guests and thus their profit. Very impressive. Breakfast service was poor and haphazard, servers unfriendly, although the quality and choice of what was on offer was reasonable. I regret to say that a period of our short stay was taken up with looking into moving to another hotel in the locale, which again, proved impossible as everywhere was booked out. I appreciate that this is a budget hotel, but can confidently say, you will do better for these prices in Paris both in terms of standard and service; look elsewhere.

Nice family run hotel, 10 minutes from metro stataion, average size rooms, very small bathroom. There were works going on at the hotel during my stay which were slightly annoying and the wifi internet connection was very tempremental, otherwise a very pleasant stay. The area is full of bakerys and cafes and there is a supermarket close by as well.
