“Loved it here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

This is my second time at the Albion and we stayed for 10 nights in Oct 2013. The next time we return to Paris, we will certainly be back. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the location very convenient and the staff helpful and professional. Special thanks to Henri and Zorana who went out of their way to making this stay in Paris memorable! Henri fascinated us with facts about Paris and suggested many cool places to visit around the city. If you happen to come across him, chat him up; he’s an amazing guy! Zorana was so helpful in directing us around the neighborhood and goes out of her way to answer every question we had. The Albion really has an excellent team working there and they really do make guests feel welcome and comfortable.

We took advantage of the breakfast on 2 occasions and found it to be ample and filling. It was a good spread of hot food (eggs, bacon, ham) and cold dishes of cold cuts, cheese, bread, butter, yogurt, etc. Most mornings we either woke up too late or wanted to get started on the day early and skipped breakfast. For those who don’t want to spend that amount on breakfast, there are plenty of establishments on Rue Notre-Dame de Lorette and Rue des Martyrs where you can get coffee and a quick bite.

On this stay, our room on the 4th floor faced the street side but we did not find the street noise bothersome. The room had basic amenities like a small refrigerator, safe for valuables, and AC unit, which helped make it more comfortable as Paris was surprisingly warm when we were there in late October. The bathroom was clean with nice towels, the beds comfortable and overall the room had a very cozy feel. Perhaps my only complaint about the room was the wifi signal was very weak on the 4th floor but it wasn’t a big deal, as I just went down to the lobby to send emails and surf the web.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are 2 metro stations in close walking distance, and the 67 bus stop is right around the corner so we were able to get around very easily. As for food, there is a Carrefour right across the street so we were able to buy drinks and snacks and plenty of restaurants and bakeries on Rue des Martyrs.

We will certainly be back to Paris for another visit and we will stay at the Albion.

My wife and I recently spent a week in Paris and stayed at the Hotel France Albion. The place really is a pleasant gem. The room was clean and comfortable and had a nice sized bathroom.
The hotel is located in a nice neighbor with good shops, cafes, and restaurants close by and it provides good access by metro or bus to all the major Parisian sights. The staff was exceptional. We forgot to request a shuttle to the airport until the night before we left, but they bent over backwards to find a shuttle. We never got his name, but the night clerk was extremely friendly and provided excellent tips on local tips (such as where to get the best bread and cheese). We could not have asked for a better stay and we'll definitely look to stay here again when we return to Paris.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 4th floor, so street noise was not a problem.

With so many hotels in Paris to chose from, I'm glad we picked Hotel France Albion. Friendly customer service from the start. We mainly interacted with the night staff since we were out all day, and let me tell you-- Henri is amazing. He always asks where you're headed to make sure you know how to get there and any special things you may want to do or see along the way. Upon returning for the night, he shows genuine interest in what you did and how your day was. What other hotel have you stayed in has done that??

We had a street view room which was lovely. Just the right amount of space for my husband and I. We were also pleasantly surprised with how large the bathroom was. Hotel is very close to two Metro stations or just about a 20 min walk to the main sites in Paris. Felt very safe the entire time there. This hotel is a must and we will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Paris!

I stayed here a few days ago in a single room looking onto the back of the hotel. The room was clean and quiet with enough space in the bathroom. The hotel is located next to the Notre Dame de Lorette Metro stop (line 12) or the St. Georges stop, between Montmartre and the opera house Palais Garnier. From Charles de Gaule airport I took the RER line B into the Gare du Nord and then walked for about 15 mins to the hotel from there. My stay there was extremely pleasant with nice friendly personnel. The breakfast buffet was ample and good - fruit, cereals, joghurt, fried eggs etc. etc. You could even order a continental breakfast in your room till midday, if required. For Paris, the room was not too expensive and good value for money. I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone staying a few days in Paris.

Room Tip: Choose the ones at the back if poss.

This heavenly Parisian neighborhood, replete with frothy caffeine beverages and patisserie's, hosts a charming hotel with a warm and welcoming staff. Our room was snug but atmospheric as we viewed the evocative Parisian sky and roof tops across the way. Service was efficient and pleasant and we slept peacefully neath the autumnal Parisian sky. The price was superb and allowed us to enjoy an intimate stay for 9 nights. Bordalue Patisserie fulfilled our appetites for almond croissants, just around the corner, and the area was alight with delicious cafe's where we spent hours watching stylish Parisians while sipping Cafe Crema and other caffeinated delights.

Room Tip: Our room on the sixth floor had a wonderful view

You get what you pay for here. Good location, nice clean (small) room, friendly staff. Everyone was very helpful. Short walk to the Metro and the action in Montmarte, A nice budget hotel. But don't come here if you are not used to small European hotels and want a U.S. version Holiday Inn. Come here if you don't need a big room because you'll be on the streets, but still want something clean and nice at the end of the day (or night).

Hotel France Albion was amazing! Great location; we didn't feel like tourists at all! The staff were incredibly helpful and left us feeling very lucky to have met them. Our room had a great view and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the tub was spacious, and the toiletries in the room were very cute. Would definately stay again. Excellent sleep!
