“clean and conveniently located”

Just got back from Paris with my friend and we stayed in this hotel for 4 nights.

The hotel is located in a safe area, just a few mins of walk to the Metro station (Cadet in line no.7). You can go to quite a number of scenic spots without changing metro. If you are going to Paris or leaving Paris from Gare du Nord, there are buses just around the corner and getting to the station in 10-15 mins, saving much fuss in loading the luggage in the staircase of the metro.

Loads of cafes and restaurants can be found around so there is nothing to worry for a place to eat even as late as 10pm at night. There are two supermarkets around, and a self service laundry.

Our room was in the other side of the lobby. The lift was a tiny one which we needed to squeeze in with our luggage. The room was big enough for us and clean, facing to other rooms of the hotel. The bathroom was decent and clean as well. Staff are helpful and nice. Breakfast is not included, but there are many choices outside so it is not a big problem. They do charge for internet (in a relatively high rate), even there is a PC in the lobby you still need to buy their wifi service to surf the net in that PC. So if internet is your life, you should find somewhere else to stay. But overall it is a nice place to stay and we were happy with that.

The staff at Touring Hotel were very polite and helpful. The room was clean. This area of Paris was not my favorite area to stay in. I prefer the rue cler area or the Bastille area. They have more personality and lots of shops and cafes. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower was bigger than most and had a good water flow. This felt more like a business hotel. The metro stop was basically a block away.

This hotel was a nice find in Paris. Clean, comfortable, modern furnishings, and a safe, which very few hotels seem to have. They have a GREAT bathroom, with a tub (also rare). It is a 3-star hotel and not terribly expensive. Their breakfast is huge, more like a country breakfast. My cousin, who lives in Paris and recommends hotels for his business clients, put this hotel on his list.

Room Tip: Can't comment on this, as our room was fine.

I, my wife and our two children aged 5 and 7 we got to the hotel for two nights.
This is our second time at the hotel, we were alone two years ago.
The hotel is clean and tidy, warm welcome and pleasant.
We got two rooms with two connecting doors, each room with a double bed, Rooms are a bit small.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms and wireless Internet for a fee.
Excellent location, 5-10 minute walk from the opera, supermarket is right next to the hotel and the subway station.
Garbage truck woke us up early in the morning but a short time.
Reasonable breakfast.
Hotel is recommended for those looking for a pleasant atmosphere in an excellent location.

Stayed at the Touring Hotel for a Paris weekend in July. Found the hotel a bit more worn than the pictuers on the web site showed... Our room was quite small but ok for the price, with a newly renovated bathroom. The best thing about this City Hotel was the breakfast buffét and that it´s located on a quiet street.

On the downside: The staff was not overly helpful ... No free Wi Fi (only available in the lobby for a Euro 2 fee) and you have to pay Euro 16 (8 deposit, 8 fee) to use the small in room safe. I also found the location a bit too far from most attractions. Metro Cadet is close but next time I will probably stay in the Latin Quarters instead.

Room Tip: Our room facing the back was very quiet.
