“Nice central location”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

This is a good hotel if you are looking for a central location in Paris close to many of the most notable city sites. The one down fall is that it is compact. My room was not uncomfortably small exactly but it was not particularly spacious. The hotel did also seem a little rundown although the rooms were well maintained and the bathrooms in very good condition. A good choice for the traveller who does not need a hotel to hang out in as they are too busy out enjoying Paris!

Friendly reception and very good continental breakfast.
Proximity to Argentine Metro stationary big plus (100yards)
The beds were most comfortable but the carpet was very badly stained and needs renewing, otherwise everything else was generally very clean. Bathroom was adequate but the shower disappointing as it was hand- held.
Views from bedroom and dining room overlook a central courtyard.
Modern reception lounge and elevator.
Wi Fi available but not free.
Overall adequate accommodation.

We picked this hotel from the British Airways recommended list of hotels. The room was small but clean, comfortable and well maintained so what else could we want as we hadn't come to Paris to sit in our room but to pound the streets for three days! The hotel is in an excellent position in a quiet road no more than 800 metres from the Arc de Triomphe and less than 200 metres from Argentine station on an excellent metro line.
The staff were helpful and friendly and managed to get us a table at nearby Le Hide for dinner - excellent food at reasonable prices. Continental breakfast in hotel was nice convenience before setting off to see the sites.
Beware the tourist trap cafes around L'Arc de Triomphe, particularly L'Etoile 1903 - poor service, worst saute potatoes I've ever had, and appalling musak. Pavement cafes look romantic but you will be in danger of asphyxia from cigarette smoke inhalation!

Room Tip: Go for a larger room if your budget will allow.

We absolutely loved this hotel! My husband and I spent 5 days in the streets of Paris and when we were ready to call it a night, we were able to sleep peacefully. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel was clean and well kept. Great location near the metro and small grocers, especially if you're the type that enjoys fresh produce on the go. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again when return.

Room Tip: Street view was a plus!

Needed a simple place to stay in the area around Etoile, Arc de Triomphe and came across this hotel. Got a great price for a single overnight stay. The staff was friendly, room clean and more than adequately equipped. The room was small, but normal by Paris standards. There was a little bit of noise when adjacent people were coming or going in adjacent rooms. But considering that there are only about 30ish rooms and not many close to one another, it's rare and really not bothersome.
Also happy to find air conditioning which can be a welcome relief on an occasional warm or muggy night.
And free wifi!

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at the Acacias Etoile. As others have mentioned, it is in a perfect location, and wonderful neighborhood. Two blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and the AirFrance airport bus stop. One block from the Argentine metro station. Patisseries, grocers, pubs, restaurants and shops, all just steps from the hotel. Lee (cute blond from Canada) at the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful. He helped me find an affordable store to replace my sneakers after an unfortunate mishap on the way to Paris. The rooms were clean, quiet, and as promised the air conditioning worked efficiently. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, as the patisserie on the next block had a great selection of treats. I've already encouraged friends to cancel their reservations at "chain hotel" and stay at the Acacias Etoile instead. I would not hesitate to say here again.

Room Tip: Loved our room on the top floor. 615
