Stayed here last April for the marathon. My wife wanted to be near the start line on the Champs-Elysees and the Plaza Hotel was perfect! It is well situated near all the big sites and Metro stops. Amenities were great (Hermes bath products!!). Turn down service had the best chocolates in the world. Bathroom was huge with both a bath and rain shower. Will definitely stay in this hidden gem in the future.

We have a reservation for a delux suite. We arrived here at 22.00 hours. We were taken to a claustrophobic garret purporting to be a delux suite. This was unaccepable. The staff claim there is nothing they can do without their manager and as such at 23.40 we are still waiting for a room. It seems we might have to sleep in the lobby.

Room Tip: Cannot more say much as there is no accomodation.

My family of five stayed in the prestige suite at the end of June and had a wonderful experience. Very cute little hotel with just about everything a big hotel has but with much better service. The hotel staff were friendly and polite. The lobby is cute with a tiny elevator but it all fits within the charm of this hotel and the beautiful decor. I believe there are only 35 rooms. Each room also has a nespresso machine. We were traveling with our 3 young children and they loved the hotel as well. The room was incredible ~ quite large in size and furnished very nicely, beautiful molding everywhere. The room was classicly decorated with some modern french touches, everything seemed new and very clean. Very high ceilings too. The had slippers and robes for the children all perfectly sized for each. They also had a nice treat waiting for us of Laudree macaroons and marshmallows. The hotel is about 3 blocks from the champs elyees so it was pretty quiet as well but just a short walk from all of the sites of paris. We walked to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Would definitely return to this hotel.

The entrance is very nondescript which might have a charm of its own, but once you step inside, you would be pleasantly surprised by the chic interiors & the super-friendly staff. A 5-star place is really about the service & amenities. This hotel has both of them in abundance. Front-desk staff was very friendly & helpful to all the extra requests I had, be it restaurant booking or sight-seeing guidance. The room had all the luxury features like Jacuzzi, large flat screen, music system, fantastic decor, very comfortable & luxurious bed & linen. The real clincher for this place is the location of this hotel which is within 10 mins of walk to the Arc de Triomphe and all the large marquee brand stores on Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
What this place really lacks is a good view with balconies. The breakfast was included in our package & it was very well presented, but lacking a bit in terms of cooked spread. They should improve the breakfast spread. Also, they did not repair a malfunction in the WC for 2 days.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very pricy (breakfast not included), small lift, very poor wirless connection, tiered rooms, tv not working, etc. This can't be a 5 star hotel..average 4 at best.

Dear guest,

First of all, thank you for having taken the time and trouble to leave a comment concerning your stay at the Champs Elysées Plaza.

I feel very sorry to read such a comment, and that your stay was not as perfect as you expected it to be.
The Champs Elysées Plaza, boutique hotel, kept its Haussmann style, from the frontage to the typical original Parisian elevator only used by guests, our porters use the modern staff’s one.
The hotel has been totally renovated 3 years ago in a mixed way trying to blend a classic building with a contemporary style, and is regularly taken care of in order to reach the high standards of a 5 star hotel.

Concerning the internet connection as well as the TV, and even if none of our guests complained, we immediately contacted our Internet and TV supplier in order to check the wireless connection and the video on demand.

Our priority is to assure that our guests enjoy a problem free stay with us, therefore, your comments are very useful for us; it is a shame that you did not inform us during your stay, and give us a chance to fix it.

Once again, please do accept my sincere apologies, rest assured that we do hope to have the chance to welcome you again, show you our good standards and our true sense of hospitality,

Kind regards,

Dominique Ruchaud
