We cancelled a reservation at another hotel based on a poor Trip Advisor review and made reservations for four nights at the HLP based on positive reviews from other guests. We requested a room facing with courtyard and were very pleased with the large, beautifully furnished room (#31). The marble bath was also large and well appointed with large, fluffy towels and bathrobes. The lobby/bar area is cozy and having a drink in the evening with Laurent tending bar is delightful. While we were there he had complimentary wine tasting on several evenings. We thought all of the staff were exceptional and especially thank Xavier for excellent restaurant recommendations. Jacques was also very helpful, personally coming to our room the first night to help us figure out the television controls. We walked everywhere and found the location to be ideal for sightseeing with the St. Sulpice church a block away, the Luxembourg Gardens outside the hotel and easy walks to the Latin Quarter and St. Germain des Pres. The library included free internet access, which was very nice and my husband was impressed with the fitness facilities. Although more money than we normally spend, this was a splurge that was worth every penny.

My wife and I recently spent 8 nights at Hotel Luxembourg Parc and could not have been more pleased. HLP certainly lived up to its high rating on this site! Our room was the perfect size (actually bigger than expected), very clean, well-decorated, quiet, and very cozy. The staff was always very friendly and chatty and eager to be helpful in any way possible. In fact they even were happy to make dinner recommendations and reservations for us many weeks before our arrival – a huge help! It’s also in a good location and nice quiet area of Paris – we walked everywhere (and unfailingly were always happy to return).

We’ve both been to Paris before but this was our first time there together, which could not have gone better in large part due to our accommodations at HLP. We’ll be recommending HLP to anyone we know ever planning to go to Paris – and plan to be staying here again ourselves given the opportunity which we hope to be soon!

Stayed for 6 nights and thought the hotel lived up to the Trip Advisor descriptions. Room size was as we expected for a boutique hotel in a major city, bathroom actually larger than we expected. Free WiFi worked well in our room so we could Skype the kids! We did not eat breakfast in the hotel - there are numerous cafes and patisseries within a few blocks, and we really enjoyed walking through this part of Paris.

My wife and i had the absolute pleasure of being able to spend five nights at this beautiful, well run Hotel! !Knowing it was was our twenty fifth wedding anniversary The entire staff welcomed us with open arms throughout our entire stay.Be sure to take the time to introduce oneself to Laurent, the bartender; as his demeanor and knowledge of all Paris will indeed set the tone for your stay! Not be to slighted, Xavier, Jacques(Jack?) Fabien and the entire team go out of their way to make your stay a very special experience. Over the years we have traveled to many different places. and yet we have to admit ,The Hotel Luxemborg Parc easily tops our List as our overall Favorite!!! Au revoir , until next time! We recently spent 5 days at the Luxembourg Parc Hotel. A fabulous location that offers quiet surroundings opposite the gorgeous Luxembourg Gardens but just a five minute walk to bustling St. Germaine des Pres. Our days were spent sightseeing from early am to late at night so our interaction with the staff was minimal however both daytime female concierges were excellent and very helpful.
On the other hand I would agree with the previous review that commented on the person providing the breakfast service. We also found her to be disinterested and not very accommodating and consequently we preferred to have breakfast outside of the hotel.
The housekeeping is impeccable and the bathrooms oversized for a Paris hotel.
We would not hesitate to highly recommend this hotel.

The reception staff were friendly to a point, it was as if they were impatient though - which isn't acceptable. I speak french so it wasn't that they had to speak English. the hotel is lovely and is in our favourite part of Paris so no problem there. The bar is nice and the reading room is cosy. The room was small but clean with a nice bathroom. It was quite expensive though. I also went on tour to see what the other rooms were like. The next rooms up were fine but not worth paying over €100 extra, still small and a bit cluttered actually. But really these aren't major issues, we've stayed in lots of hotels in Paris and this is one of the better ones for sure. I just didn't see what all the fuss was about to be honest. It's smart, it's clean, as I said I can't quite tell you why it isn't as good as I thought it would be. Perhaps, it's the awful woman at breakfast who takes the gloss off it. Narky, rude and ambivalent. Not great in a service industry.

We just came back from the Luxembourg Park on October 2nd. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We were going to stay in a bigger hotel on the Right Bank (with a high Tripadvisor ranking) but decided on this one after reading Tripadvisor and we weren't the least bit sorry.

We had an executive Room (#31) facing the courtyard. It was spotlessly clean, quiet and very French. The breakfast, at 15 Euros, was nice and kept us going for the day. The location was wonderful we walked to the Musee D'Orsay and Notre Dame as well as all over the 6 Arr.

But, as others have said, the staff makes the experience! Xavier was wonderful from making reservations for us for dinner to keeping us entertained. Jacques brought us an extra pillow at midnight and has a million stories about Paris. Laurent, at the the bar, Ava and Fabienne were also helpful. They all speak fluent English and are willing to help you with your French.

We hope to return to Paris and will not consider any other hotel except this one.
