Back for another stay, our second visit to this charming property has confirmed it is now our favorite hotel of choice in Paris. At the very edge of the 5th, just across the street from Luxembourg Park and the 6th, the hotel is far enough away from the nightlife of center St. Germain des Pres not to hear it, but practically close enough to see it. Perfect location, a quiet block away from St. Sulpice Church. Its upscale, old-fashioned and elegant rooms are slightly larger than most other Paris hotels, and in this case opened its doors onto a splendid private terrace, replete with wooden tables and chaise, overlooking Luxembourg Park. The bathrooms are small but appointed with marble tile and sinks, quite chic and smart. The front desk is especially helpful and courteous, and an ample buffet breakfast is served in the stylish and bright breakfast room, where eggs can also be cooked to order by the helpful Louis. We hated to leave. Going back to Paris means, for us, going back here.

Being across the street from Luxembourg Gardens is very convenient and dreamy. There are a couple of great cafes a stone's throw away (Le Rostand, Le Hibou, L'Entrecote) and a yummy crepe place literally across the alley from the entrance. The breakfast arrangement (buffet with a few kitchen offerings like eggs and bacon) are delicious, reasonably prices, and insanely convenient. Lovely, helpful staff. Yes, this is a smaller, boutique-style hotel, the rooms aren't huge but they're elegant and extremely well-thought-out. Oh, and before I forget: rock-solid WiFi. Pretty easy walk to St. Germain, Notre Dame, and other Left Bank attractions. The entrance is also a really great pick-up/drop-off for your car service, as well. I love this place. I'm going to bring my family back here.

Wonderful small hotel within walking distance of many must see areas, museums, and parks. It is virtually at a gate into Luxembourg Park. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and were always willing to give advice and directions. We upgraded to the Superior Room but felt it was cramped, especially the bathroom which allowed use by only 1 person? My husband who is under 6' could not stand upright in the shower! And because of the sloped wall next to the bed he had to be careful not to hit his head. Perhaps ask to see the room before settling down. We would definitely return but ask more questions on the room (ours was #42).

last time there was more than a year ago... but still having fond memories of their service, room décor and proximity to many enjoyable spots and restaurants. It is directly across from Luxembourg Parc and Angelia's restaurant.
