The price was a little high for off season pricing, but the location was great for us so we bit the pain of the cost. Knowing what 3 stars means size wise, we still found the room to be just a bit smaller than expected, with barely anywhere for our luggage. Also, there was no tea or water available for free, so after a long day of walking around Paris, we had to buy water from the front desk. The plus was that we were on the main floor, so we only had to climb the first flight of stairs to get to our room and the WiFi signal was strong and consistent. Also, the 4 and 6 lines are right there, as well as tons of cafe's, gelato, and creperies. The room was also pretty clean, so there was no complaining about that. All and all, we are at a 3.5-4.

We stayed one night in this hotel as we were leaving the next morning from Montparnasse train station. The hotel was located just a 2 minute walk from the train station. It is also close to many excellent cafes/restaurants. The hotel staff were very nice, the breakfast was very good, bed very comfortable and the wifi worked well. Our only caution would be that in order to get to the hotel you need to walk up two flights of stairs (after this point there is an elevator to take you to your room). So if you are traveling with a ton of luggage or someone who is not able bodied this would be an issue, otherwise it is a wonderful place to stay.

Room Tip: Upper floors are quieter

They forced me to take another extra room because i'm traveling with an infant and a 4 years old children! The hotel lobby is on the second floor, it has no lift and only staircase to the second floor, lift is only available from 2nd floor onward, just imagine when you reach the hotel with stroller and 2 luggage to carry up to the 2nd floor without any help! There is not water boiler provided in the room and no complimentary sachet of coffee or tea whatsoever. We requested a water boiler from the reception because we need to make milk for our baby. Another ridiculous thing is there is no mug and only plastic cup provided in the bath room, even if you want to make yourself a hot cup of coffee you have no mug! We ask the receptionist to provide us some mug, he has trouble understanding english and when he finally understand what i want and take a mug from the kitchen and show me, he said he can't give it to me, the reason he gave was they are not licensed to provide mug in the room???!!! WTF??? And the sound proofing quality of the room is terrible, we can hear the conversation of the people next room, and likewise we have been complaint by other tennent because our baby and kid are making noise.....my goodness what do you expect from kid and baby???!!! And our bathroom folding glass door felt off, what a terrible quality! And this hotel has only one very tiny lift, you can't even squeeze four person with luggage inside it, and you have to wait forever for the lift the arrive at your floor.

Room Tip: Avoid this inconsiderate hotel for family!

Perfectly adequate and quiet small hotel in aside street in the Montparnasse district, buzzing at night (restaurants, cafés, theatres) with free WiFi. Small double with bizarre wallpaper over the head of the bed, decent shower room and ample (though overpriced at €12) buffet breakfast. On the more positive side, only €80 a night and I would certainly stay again for business/in transit.
Unlike other reviewers I would not stretch quite as far as romantic however......

Room Tip: Back of the hotel probably quieter and faces north, especially in the summer when it would be necess...

The hotel is very nice, very close to the city center and in one minute you are at the metro-station (montparnasse tower)!! :)
The room is very nice and lovely. Especially for couples, very romantic. It's also very clean and modern. The highlight in the bath is the shower: after a long day in Paris you can enjoy a shower with a big big shower-head!! :D
Enjoy your journey!!!

The location was perfect, the staff in the hotel were very friendly. Even though the rooms were quite small, it was very practically designed. I would definitely suggest the hotel for both his location and the high quality of the workers in there.

This hotel, was off the busy streets and had Parisian charm. I scoured affordable places that had private bathrooms and this small yet still incredibly comfortable room had a nice bathroom. The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and the room was nicely decorated in a simple, updated way. The pillows were great! We brought our own pillows, (because most German hotels give you big, soft pillows that go flat right away) and we could have left them at home. The bed was comfortable and firm. The hotel was located right near a main metro station and an offshoot entrance even closer. Parking was near plentiful and close in nearby parking garages. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends going here in the future.
