Went to Orangerie for the first time last month, Really enjoyed the interiors and the oval rooms. I liked the long stretched paintings along the wall, very airy and bright. Easy to stroll around downstairs were we managed to see more impressionists. Recommend the double pass Orsay - Orangerie, I had mine with 3 days validity for 16euros.

Thank Francesco M

Apart from the good collection of Monets water lilies there is also much more of worth to see. Nothing to dislike and lots to like

I really enjoyed this gallery. It's a manageable size, and not too busy. We went on the first Sunday of the month - which meant there was no entry charge - a saving of €9. Upstairs there are the 8 Monet Water Lilies, whilst downstairs there was an Emile Bernard exhibition - which closes in early January. I was not familiar with this artist (my ignorance) and was pleasantly surprised. There is also the The Walter-Guillaume Collection - various artists. There is a small gift shop, but unfortunately no coffee shop. I'll definitely visit again.

This selective collection is a must see, starting with the rooms housing Monet's water lily paintings. They have the power to transport even a group of 7 and 8 year old students. The balance of the collection is a delight as well and well worth the hour or so to view it.

I would highly recommend this gallery to all visitors to Paris. They have a small, manageable collection containing the most fantastic works of all the artists that we have come to know as being synonymous to the art revolution in Paris. such artists as Renoir, Van Gough, Picasso, Matisse, Cezanne and Monet Well set out, easy to walk around and photograph. Excellent two hours!
