This museum is a treasure: small, elegant, restrained in design, it is a perfect setting for the stunningly displayed series of Monet's Water Lilies paintings. There are two rooms of these magnificent works, displayed in a circular pattern that makes the viewer feel surrounded by their color and beauty. There are other Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works in the gallery as well. Not to be missed!

I could sit in the Waterlily galleries all day, every day. If you like Monet, this museum is for you!

Overall unimpressed with the quantity and expense of this establishment. We paid a pretty decent amount to get in and then we basically just ended up walking out.

We went to this tiny art museum, as it was listed on the Paris Museum Pass. I wanted to go only to see Monet's Water Lilies, which are a work of art and amazing to see all in one room as they were meant to be displayed. There were other lesser known (at least to me) artists' pieces worthwhile to view, but we really just went to see the Water Lilies. My husband would rather have skipped it, but if you're in the Tuileries Gardens area with the Museum Pass, stop in. I don't think I would have paid the 7.50 euro entrance fee just to see Monet's Water Lilies, but that's me.

This really is a must see - particularly the huge circular paintings of the Monet Water Lilies. Unforgettable. And much of interest to see in the basement as well.
