“Monet Lover's Dream”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

This hidden museum is a MUST see for any one that love's Monet. The panoramic water lilies installed in two natural light lit rooms is a place to sit and take in how brilliant of an artist he was. The museum also houses an amazing collection of Cezanne, Picasso, Renoir, Matisse, Gauguin and the list goes on. Take the time to visit this one!

“too small”

Recommend to buy combined tickets with Musee d'Orsay. You will save 6 Euro. NOT recommended for non-qualified people.

“Soutine exhibit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

We had little time here and stuck to the current exhibition of Chaim Soutine. It was excellent and much enjoyed. Wish we'd had more time to walk around and see the collections.

“Yes - see this Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

Loved this museum in the Tuileries. Monet's water lilies are displayed in two oval rooms and (with less people there) you can sit and absorb and feel like you are almost in the painting. The collection downstairs is great and you can take in the museum easily without too much time consumption and art overload and then stroll the Tuileries apres!

“Gem of a museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

So peaceful, so serene, so compact and so utterly beautiful. This gem of a museum is never crowded, so you can sit and relax (just like Monet intended) and take in the astounding colors of his water lilies, oblivious to the swirl and whirl of Paris outside. Particularly good deal if you combine with the Orsay (which is deservedly the #1 site in this list). We loved it.
