“Wonderful Staff! Charming! Great Location!”
Reviewed August 23, 2010

This charming hotel helped make our stay in Paris wonderful! It seemed at times the friendly staff was God sent! They go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasant and comfortable. Each morning before the hotel breakfast we were greeted with a smiling face. Arnaud, who usually greeted us in the morning, went above and beyond one day and helped us by calling the tour company to help us with a discrepancy. In addition to wake up calls, calling taxis, breakfast, Internet, and other standard amenities--the friendly staff is what makes the difference and separate them from other hotels in Paris. This was my fourth visit to Paris--I have finally found a hotel I will use over and over again for all my trips! Another perk, the hotel is just a short 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Yellow and Red Open Bus Tour stops. The neighborhood is safe and there is an incredible restaurant right next door.
Many, many thanks to my new friends at Hotel Londres! I hope to see you all very soon! Keep up the great hospitality! Your kindness helped make our trip memorable.

We stayed for 3 nights on the end of a 10 day trip to France. A relaxing venue in transition to home. It was in a quiet neighborhood, a secure entrance by giving the key to the front desk on each exit, and offered hospitality. The room size was small, but comfortable. The bathroom was great. Free wireless internet reliable. Breakfast was simple, but plentiful and included. Great location!

We had originally booked into the Duquesne but due to the air strike had to rearrange our flights. The Duquesne could no longer accommodate our alternative arrangements but contacted de Londres on our behalf. They said the could provide us with a double room with an extra bed as they had no triple rooms available. When we arrived, we found that we had been upgraded to connecting double rooms at no extra cost.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and we always found the Reception staff very polite and helpful.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. I would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

We spent one night here to celebrate our two-year anniversary after a two-week trip through Morocco. Hotel Londres Eiffel was a lovely break. The room was small, well-designed, and truly elegant, and we found it very relaxing.

"The Hotel Londres Eiffel is modern, quiet (located on a one-way side street), clean, and has a friendly and helpful staff. Don't worry if your French is not up to par. They speak English, and are helpful and even encouraging to those of us who want to practice our less than perfect French. The hotel is located just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower and the river Seine, near a Metro stop, and has lots of cafes and small restaurants in the neighborhood. Paris was hot when I was there and it was so nice to come back to an air conditioned room after a long day of sightseeing. Added amenities include a self-serve laundromat across the street and another one down at the end of the street. The hotel is walking distance to Rue Cler, Rick Steves' favorite street, which is lined with market stands, small shops and wonderful cafes. I knew that the Hotel Londres-Eiffel would be a gem because it is the home/hotel of multiple "Rick Steves' Europe Through the Back Door" Paris tours, which is why I was staying there there."

I wouldn't stay at this hotel again...I was fortunate enough to get a good last minute deal on this hotel, however, despite the great location, I did find that the room was too small to just completely unwind and make the most of the stay in Paris. Perhaps if you just need a base in central Paris this is the ideal hotel! For me personally, I wanted more...but for the price paid, it was fair! Helpful staff throughout the hotel and always on hand to give advice on where to go.

We reserved here because of Rick Steves' recommendation. It's in the Rue Cler neighborhood quite close to the Eiffel Tower. It's also just around the corner from the extremely interesting new Musee de Quai Branly. It's convenient to the Metro and therer were sveral good restaurants very nearby. The hotel itself was pretty. The staff were very friendly, gracious, and helpful. Like all hotel rooms in Europe (apparently), the bedroom was small, but it was clean, fresh, and nicely appointed. Again, like almost all the hotels in Europe I've stayed in, the air conditioning was weak, but it was adequate (barely). We enjoyed our stay and would return. The Continental breakfast was very nice and a good value (considering the extraordinary prices everywhere else). The restaurant only served breakfast.
