We stayed at Hotel de Londres Eiffel as part of a Rick Steves tour. A wonderful hotel with a near perfect location. The rooms are small by American standards, but wholly functional and comfortable. Impeccably clean. Comfortable beds. Convenient bar fridge. Cedric and Arnaud (front desk concierge/managers) are gems. I'd waited too long to book our Eiffel Tower tickets, yet Cedric (at the height of the tourist season) was able to get us tickets with a small tour group. We corresponded with both Cedric and Arnaud by email prior to leaving the US. They were very prompt at answering the emails and helped arrange an airport to hotel shuttle for us, and to arrange a family room for us prior to the start of our tour. Both gentlemen are awesome!

Located on a quiet street, the hotel is convenient to everything you need. There is a laundromat across the street, a grocery store around the corner, and great/affordable places to eat nearby (ask Cedric for a list of nearby cafes).

The nearest Metro (about a 10 minute walk) is Ecole Militiare. Parc du Champs de Mars is just a five minute walk. And the 69 Bus is also nearby.

A great base for a Paris vacation!

Room Tip: A few rooms have a view of the Eiffel Tower (ask when you book)

This was a lovely hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helped us feel at home. They sat down with us, gave us a map, and pointed out the nice places to visit in the area. The hotel is near the Eiffel Tower. We especially enjoyed walking on the nearby pedestrian street Rue Cler and stopping at the cafes there to have croissants and coffee. The staff was also very helpful in arranging transportation for us around the city. Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious!

Room Tip: The rooms in the back (not on the street side) are quieter.

We visited Paris for 4 nights with out two teen-age grandchildren. The Family rooms at the hotel were perfect. The location is superb--convenient to bistros, pastry shops, the Metro, and the Eiffel Tower. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful in every way.

This small and uber friendly hotel takes care of every need and is located just around the corner from the Eiffel. The neighborhood is filled with locals and resturants that are well priced and wonderful. From the get go the staff took care of us -- arranged for our airport pick up and drop off and recommended great places to shop and eat -- the pizza place up the street is fabulous for a early evening snack. Wonderful higher-end resturants just a block or two away. Shopping is wonderful in this area -- local shops cater to those truly looking to find that something special. The rooms are compact, very clean, and the breakfast is wonderful although we loved stopping by the local bakery to grab a coffee and pastry to go. I highly recommend this hotel -- the price cannot be beat for the location and the care and attention you recieve -- if you are lucky you might get to meet the owner's dog and have a quick chat. We have stayed three times and have never been disappointed.

Room Tip: If you have big bags let the staff know so you don't have to try to fit up the sprial staircase...

We stayed at this gem of a hotel on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed! The location is perfect and gives one the feel of being a resident rather than a tourist. Understandably the rooms are small, but the decor is terrific and the bathroom was roomy and modern. The staff is wonderful (thank-you Arnaud and Cedric for your great restaurant recommendations, especially Le P'tit Troquet) and for arranging seamless airport transfers. Felt like a home away from home.

We stayed in the Duo Renaissance suite with our two children for a night. Gorgeous decor, welcoming & helpful staff, tasty breakfast & well situated. Very compact rooms and not cheap but I gather that is just part of staying in Paris! A wonderful stay & would highly recommend.

Being the frugal guy that I am it was a stretch to pay as much as I did for this hotel but the reactions of my wife and the other couple suggest it was worth every centime (euro). The added expense of a room on the fifth floor (54 Victor Hugo) for a view of the Eiffel Tower is not something I needed but the ladies thought it was spectacular to see the tower sparkle on the hour from our bedroom window. This hotel is about between a five to ten minute walk to the Ecole Militaire Metro station and all of Paris is accessable via the Metro. The room was tastefully decorated, like every hotel I've stayed in in Paris was small, had nice storage closets on each side of the bed, a great bathroom (don't drop the soap in the shower:) with a shaver outlet and hair dryer. Something that I would have loved to see at this price point was coffee (a kettle and tea and instant coffe would be great) in the room. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy.

The hotel is very quiet and we never had any noises from outside or inside that disturbed us. The feature of having lights motion activated is a great energy savings and ensures that you have light when you need it.

Musumu and Cedrick were great resources and did everything they could to help. I loved that I got to meet the beautiful dog.

Breakfast was great and the variety was outstanding. The pain au chocolat impressed everyone, the croissant was huge and the butter and fruit jams were tasty. Yogurt and cereals with salami and ham rounded out the petite dejeuner. A great start to a day of sight seeing in Paris. Just a bit pricey at 15 euro.

Room Tip: Room 52 has two windows that open to a view of the Eiffel Tower. Room 54 next door has one window th...
