I would have given this hotel 5 stars, except for two things. The small and cramped breakfast room had a rather unwelcome appearance. The breakfast lady (who is also one of the maids), was extremely unfriendly. We went down to breakfast around 9am, and she seemed really irritated that we wanted to eat, and seated us at a dirty table. When we got up and moved to a nearby table, she was very annoyed and asked why we moved. We said because the other table was dirty. She huffed and picked up the dirty placemats and practically flung them at us, and rudely gestured for us to hurry up and tell her what we wanted to drink. She quickly gave us drinks and then went into the reception area where she proceed to laugh and talk, really loudly, with the other maid. The food choice was average at best, and I would definitely recommed eating breakfast at one of the many small cafes that are close by. The second issue was being awakened around 5am by the sound of hammering, which happened on two of the 4 nights we were there. I saw this mentioned by several other reviewers as well. Everything else about the hotel was fine. We had a Pavillion room on the first floor that had a double bed and a single couch, which afforded us plenty of room to move around and store our suitcases. The beds were rather hard, but OK. Location was great. Would definitey recommend the hop on/hop off bus. We stayed on it for the whole round-trip and got a great view of all of the main sights.

Room Tip: Get upgrade to a Pavillion room. Although our room did not have a view of the Eiffel Tower, it was m...

We had one night to spend in Paris before leaving for Provence. I wanted to be close to the Eiffel tower for an evening stroll. I had requested a room with a view of the Eiffel tower but it was not available at the time of booking. To our surprise Arnaud noted our request and upgraded us. He was extremely helpful and let us check in early after our long flight. Room 62 was small but well appointed. It had a soaking tub and just enough room for our needs. We loved watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at the beginning of each hour. Buffet breakfast was nothing special but other than that it was an Excellent stay.

Our final night in Paris, and in France, was spent here, in this excellent location a short distance from fine restaurants and the Eiffel tower. Wonderful, clean rooms, well-lit and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were exceptionally friendly. All conveniences we needed very close by.

We just returned from a 14 day driving tour of Provence and stayed at Hotel deLondres Eiffel for our last night in France. Wonderful spot. Room was nicely appointed. Staff was very friendly, very helpful and eager to make our brief stay comfortable. Close to everything in Rue Cler and near Eiffel Tower. Also, just around the corner from Cafe Constant, a great bistro. We will be back.

We ended up here in the middle of the night after running away from another horrible hotel.
Small rooms, noisy during the night because of air compressors down the shaft, someone used hammer starting as of 5.30 in the morning waking us up everyday, no lift - had to carry ourselves luggages to the second floor - air inspirator in the bathroom tremendously noisy, tv facing the wall. We also booked with them a shuttle service who dropped us in the middle of Paris and ran away with our luggage.
Do not come here. Never. Please.

Room Tip: Small rooms, noisy, no lift, horrible shuttle service experience

We loved our stay at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel in Paris. The staff was so friendly & helpful. They gave suggestions and made dinner reservations for us each evening. Rooms, while small, were very comfortable and well appointed. Our room had a good sized bathroom with a full shower/tub. The Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, and Rue Cler are all within easy walking distance. The real positive was the great restaurants that were all so close. The top rated Trip Advisor Restaurant 'FL' was located right next door. Unfortunately it was closed the week we were there and we didn't get the opportunity to eat there. But I would highly recommend both 'Le P'tit Troquet' and 'La Fontaine de Mars'. Only negative is that the closest Metro station is a distance from the hotel.

My husband and I decided to spend a little extra to stay at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel and we're glad we did. The hotel was great and the view of the Eiffel Tower from our room (#62) was awesome. Room was small but nicely decorated, clean, and had WiFi.

Arnaud greeted us on our arrival and sat down with us to show us on a map where everything was located and gave us a sheet of instructions for getting to all of the tourist sites. He patiently answered all of our questions in perfect English which was great since my French is not so perfect. All of the guys at the reception desk were wonderful.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower, located under the eave of the roof, was a bit tight. Everything was clean though and the verbena shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion was a nice touch.

The Eiffel Tower is only a few minutes away and the area has several cafes and restaurants nearby. Small grocery store right around the corner and Cafe Constant (a local favorite) is one door down. The boats for the river cruises are right by the Eiffel Tower so they are an easy walk from the hotel.

2 Metro stops about 10 minutes away and the #69 bus runs a few blocks away. Rue Cler is a 5 minute walk and has great shops for a quick breakfast. We loved the individual quiches for about 3 euro. and stopped at the Starbucks nearby for coffee.

I read the review below about the Shuttle service. Although our experience wasn't nearly as bad, it wasn't great either. We got to the airport an hour later than we were promised. But I don't hold that against Hotel de Londres Eiffel, it's an optional service that they provide by arranging the transportation. It wasn't their fault that the shuttle service got us there late.

We were very happy with our stay here and we highly recommend them.
