This hotel was amazing! It was perfect in location as it was located right next to a metro stop, or your could walk to whatever attraction you wanted to and enjoy the sights along the way! My husband and I took advantage of both, as we were eager to soak up the beauty of the weather and hidden sights you stumble upon while waltzing through the streets.

Emmanuel and Joel were overly helpful and enthusiastic to help in any way possible. They even made dinner reservations for me prior to our arrival at a restaurant I was eager to eat at while there!

The hotel was clean, adorable, and a perfect place to arrive back to in the evenings after a long day of sightseeing! We could not have been more pleased with our choice.

We ate breakfast one morning at the hotel and it was adorable, as it was served in a little cave underneath the hotel. The food was also amazing! There are also boulangeries located near the hotel in case you are wanting to experience picking up a croissant while journeying out for the day!

My husband and I will definitely be staying here again as it was like a little home away from home in the City of Lights!

Dear guests,
Hi from Apollon Montparnasse Hotel.
We want to express all our thankfulness to you for your so kind comment. It is so encouraging for us that you spent an excellent stay at our hotel.
Further to all our renovation works, we can provide our guests with very clean, design, cosy and very nicely decorated rooms. We can, also, assure a buffet breakfast in a nice stone cellar, presenting both various, fresh and good quality porducts at a reasonable price.
So that our guests should be feeling good with us, our team always tries to reserve them a friendly, convivial and helpful atmosphere, with a little part of humor sometimes. We do all our best to remain attentive to our guests' needs, which is the most crucial element of our work.
You were able to appreciate a lot Pernety neighborhood, with its numerous and sympathic French restaurants, such as "La Cantine du Troquet", "Au Métro", and main shopping street Rue Raymond Losserand, holding so various bakeries and pastries, such as "La Fournée d'Augustine". French "baguette" is one of the most famous symbols of our French way of life. Moreover, as we are very close to Pernety subway station, you can join the heart of Paris, such as Champs-Elysées, by around 5 or 10 minutes. It is true that Pernety is a perfect location for our hotel, easily reachable.
Do not hesitate to come back for another stay at our hotel: you will always be the welcome among us, Dear Guests and Friends.
With friendly regards,
THE WHOLE TEAM OF APOLLON MONTPARNASSE HOTEL

We stayed at Hotel Apollon Montparnasse for 11 nights and I could not have been more pleased with the level of courtesy and service shown to us by its wonderful staff. We got to the hotel on a Wednesday morning. We had taken advantage of the shuttle booking by the hotel, as we had six people with sizable luggage and the convenience factor more than paid for itself, as our driver was waiting when we arrived and got us to the hotel promptly (we also elected to take the shuttle back to the airport on our departure day, as well). We met Emmanuel who was as friendly and welcoming as he had been in emails we had exchanged months prior. The reception area is nicely decorated and cute, with a coffee machine where the person on reception duty will make you a cup if you want one. They also have umbrellas for your use, which was lucky for us because it rained nearly every day at some point during our vacation.

Two of the rooms were already prepared for us, and the third was finished within 10 minutes of our arrival so we were able to go upstairs and dump our bags. They have a small elevator where one person with a suitcase can travel at a time. They have a breakfast service down in this cool cave-type room downstairs, which we had once during our trip. We really enjoyed it, but we found we didn't need to eat that much in the morning and that's why we didn't have it again.

Emmanuel and Joel who work at the desk during the day are so nice and helpful. They can tell you anything you need to know and can also make recommendations (for example, the RER C line was closed for work, so Emmanuel told us exactly what other train to take to get to Versailles, so we could go there and back without incident). I speak some French and Joel encouraged me to speak French to him when I could, which was good because it helped me remember a lot of words and expressions I had sort of forgotten! Alain and Damien work at night and were also just really nice guys. Damien has a great sense of humor.

As others have said, the room is pleasantly decorated with a great A/C system (it was rainy and so humid during part of our trip so it was nice to come into that dry room every day). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we slept very well our entire trip. Because it's Paris, yes, of course, the rooms are small as compared to American hotel rooms, but for us, it was our perfect little resting area. There is also a small fridge where we were able to keep water.

The proximity to the Pernety station on the 13 line (great line to get around on) and the awesome Rue Raymond Losserand can't be understated. There are so many great little cafes and shops in this area with many people who can speak a little English. We liked Au Metro for the friendliness and convenience. Cafe Losserand is also friendly and has tasty food. L'Envie also has great food but the more typical Parisian briskness to the service. Pernety Pizza and Pizza Nina are both awesome. The bakeries on Rue Raymond Losserand are great, and there is a small women's boutique called Nikita that has beautiful clothes for a small price (although the employees there speak little to no English, which was OK for me but I had to translate for my mom). We really loved Le Bouquet, this little bar place up on Rue Raymond Lossarand - total neighborhood hangout where the regulars were undoubtedly amused at our constant presence, but we were always met with friendly looks and some pleasantries in English. Note to those looking for a Navigo Decouverte - they didn't have the cards in the information booth at the Pernety station, so we just walked up one stop to Gaite and were able to get them there.

For the level of service and convenience this hotel offers, the value absolutely cannot be beat. Hotel Apollon Montparnasse became our home away from home and we are so grateful to Emmanuel, Joel, Alain, Damien and the rest of the staff for helping us create such a fun and memorable trip to Paris... merci, merci, merci beaucoup - vous etes super chouette!

Dear Guests,
Hi from Apollon Montparnasse Hotel.
That was so kind from you to write for us this message. We hope that you made a very nice trip back home and we are so happy to have contributed to your satisfaction.
In spite of their size, typically from Paris and all the other European capitals, our rooms were entirely renovated with a nice, cosy and design decoration, a new and comfortable bedding, and our chamber maids do their best to keep their cleanliness every day; you were able to understand it perfectly. Even our front desk area and our saloon were entirely renovated with a "bookstore" tapestry.
Within our renovations, we managed to improve our buffet breakfast through introducing various, fresh and good quality products, in a cosy frame: a stone cellar, looking like a "wine store". And you appreciated it a lot, as well.
Among our other services our guets appreciate strongly, too: our shuttle pick up services from airports, and some other "petit plus", such as luggage area and umbrellas.
Friendliness, kindness and helpfulness from our staff helped you to feel good among us, with a little part of humor sometimes for everybody's happiness. What we want, every guests need to be happy.
One of the strongest points of our hotel, this is a perfect location in a pleasant, living, quiet and safe area: Pernety, with its subway station that eneables you to reach the heart of the capital by 5 or 10 minutes. The main shopping street, Rue Raymond Losserand, holds so various restaurants, brasseries, and local shops, such as bakeries and pastries, if you are very fond of French bread and buns. Gare Montparnasse station is very close to our hotel as well, so that you can go to Versailles very quickly.
What is the pleasure for us, is that you will keep an excellent souvenir of your stay at our hotel, and that you spent a very pleasant and unforgettable stay at Apollon.
We will have the pleasure, as well, to welcome you again among us, when you come back to Paris.
With kindest regards,
THE WHOLE TEAM OF APOLLON MONTPARNASSE HOTEL

This is a truly excellent, friendly, super clean and comfortable hotel. M. Emmanuel in reception could not do enough to make sure my visit was as pleasant as it could possibly be. This is the first time in my travelling experience I have ever been offered the option between 2 rooms.

Information was complete and well-explained. The tube is very close and the station an easy less than 10 minute walk. The recommendations of M. Emmanuel are definitely to be followed! The evening receptionist was also extremely helpful and offered me the use of one of the hotel umbrellas as I needed to pop out. The rooms are "bijou" but extremely comfortable. The breakfast was as delightful as the room it was served in. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I chose the top floor room .... it was very quiet.

Dear guest,
Hi from Apollon Montparnasse Hotel.
First of all, thousands of thanks for your very kind message. It is so delighting to learn that our team was able to satisfy all your expectations, and helped you to spend a very pleasant stay at our hotel.
What we do, is giving our guests the choice between several rooms, and this, at the same rate for his best satisfaction.
Our staff helpfulness and frienliness, our breakfast quality with various and fresh products, and our rooms cleanliness, comfort and nice decoration, contributed to your satisfaction.
Helping our guests with recommendations about restaurants and the main directions in Paris is, also, a very important part of our work in a one key word: "informing".
One our greatest advantages is our location between PERNETY metro station and MONTPARNASSE TRAIN STATION, so that we are easily reachable.
We are looking forward to welcoming you again at Apollon, when you come back to Paris.
With warmest regards,

Our experience was wonderful due to the fact that we were greeted warmly, given very helpful information and it was very clean. Rooms and beds on the smaller size but it did not distract from the room which was had everything you needed. If coming from the airport you take the Air France bus to Gare Montparnasse and then it is a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel through the gardens to Rue l'Ouest. All recommendations for food in the area were fantastic, especially the La Cantine du Troquet. Really great having the Pernety underground station so close as it made all areas accessible in minutes. If staying at the hotel walk two streets towards Gare Montparnasse look to your left and see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night. Truly amazing. It looks close but it is not a short walk around 5 kilometres!

Room Tip: There is a lift!!!!!!!!

Dear Trip advisor members,
Good evening from Apollon Montparnasse Hotel.
First of all, many thanks again for your very kind message and sharing with us your great satisfaction about your wonderful stay at our hotel.
Satisfying our guests is our main goal, and our whole team was able to make the necessary for contributing to it.
What guests, really, need for feeling good during their stay among us, these are these following points: a warm welcoming and helpfulness.
Showing them where to go, where to eat, and what to visit in Paris, is one of pour greatest parts of our work. One of our greatest advantages of our hotel is our metro station PERNETY and train station GARE MONTPARNASSE with AIR France shuttle bus proximity ; at PLACE DE CATALOGNE, you were able to see the EIFFEL TOWER in front of your eyes, flickering every evening, that's so great…
In spite of their size, typical from Paris and the other European capitals, our rooms were entirely renovated one year ago with a new design decoration, new bedding (comfortable) and our chamber maids always do their best to keep them clean everyday.
Thanks to PERNETY metro station, the rest of the capital is very quickly to reach, and our neighborhood has numerous French restaurants, such as "La Cantine du Troquet"; you were able to get one of the greatest aspects of French way of life, characterized by good food.
We will very glad to welcome you again for your next trips to Paris, dear guests.
Very kind regards,
THE FRONT DESK TEAM

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were very pleased. The property is very up-to-date and nicely appointed. I would call it a boutique hotel - 35 rooms, I think. As others have said, the room is small (we had a double) but the double bed was very comfortable and the pillows were excellent. We slept great every night. The shower was very tight but it had a hand held shower head which helped. We had a corner room on the 5th floor, on the street. We slept fine with the windows closed and the AC on, mostly for white noise. The storage cupboard was small and the door had to be forced shut - it had an old fashioned latch that should be replaced. The deadbolt lock in our room didn't work. We had trouble connecting to the wifi and the man we talked to wasn't able to resolve the problem. The front desk staff was first rate, really they were more like a concierge - very attentive and willing to help with anything you need. The best part was chatting with the guests in the lobby and sharing the day's adventures. The location is a little out of the way but you're only 5 minutes from the Metro. We felt that it was an excellent value and would stay again.

Dear guests,
Good evening from Apollon Montparnasse Hotel.
Thanks a lot for your message, and we were very happy to contribute to your satisfaction.
The problem with the WI FI and the door lock disturbances do not happen every time, of course, and were temporary. In general rules, when guests meet some technical disturbances like that, they inform us at once about them, so that we can make the necessary to solve them at once. When you come back at our hotel for another stay, you will not meet these problems any more.
In spite of our renovation works, our rooms remain reasonably rated, and we are very pleased that you appreciated very much their new decoration, their air condition, and their new bedding ;
regarding their size, - a little bit small -, this is a very frequent thing in every 2 and 3-star hotel in Paris and in every European capital, but we cannot do anything else than getting adapted to it, because this is the reality in the old Europe, you know.
Rue de l'Ouest and Rue Pernety do not look like the large avenues of Paris with their very heavy car traffic, and are much quieter in the night, thanks to double glazing system, highly appreciated by our guests.
Thanks to our staff helpfulness, you were able to feel good among us, with warm atmosphere that enables you to talk between each other, and with other guests, too.
The other great advantage of our hotel is its really ideal location nearby subway station PERNETY, surrounded by numerous local shops and excellent French restaurants, such as "La Cantine du Troquet", "Au Métro", "L'Envie", and some other ones, as well. Thanks to subway line 13 from PERNETY station, you, really, can join the touristic heart of Paris by 5 or 10 minutes. Everything is reachable from our hotel.
Thank you very much for your visit, and have a nice time.
Friendly regards,
THE FRONT DESK TEAM
