“What A Way To Visit Versailles - On Bikes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

Hava met us right on time at the appointed spot. After our RER ride to Versailles, we walked only a short distance to the bicycle storage area. The bikes were really quite good, with rain ponchos and several with panniers for carrying our lunches (and even free gloves for the cool morning). We had plenty of time to shop for wine, cheese, bread, pastries, and even had time for a crepe before beginning our ride around the gardens. Hava was filled with a lot of information about the Palace, French history, and Marie Antoinette. She had a packet of photos of all the important characters as well as the development of Versailles. We visited the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon, the Queen's Hamlet, and the gardens on the bikes. We lunched on the grass at the far end of the Grand Canal with the Palace in the distance. Priceless. We returned our bikes and then had time to tour the Palace. Rail transportation and entrance to the Palace were included in the ticket price. Danged good experience.

“Don't miss out!”

Loved the bike tour through Versailles! The bikes were in great condition and very comfortable. Loved that we got to experience more French culture by starting at the markets to get our lunch. The history lessons were so educational and the sights we toured were the best highlights in Versailles. The group size of 10 was perfect to get to know your group. He entire experience was well organized. Will definitely do again if we ever go back to France!

“Wonderful Paris Bike Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

Had a great ride around Paris with Jean-Baptiste (JB) of Blue Bike Tours. We visited numerous locations off the beaten track such as the site where the main character in the movie 'Midnight in Paris' collects his ride each night and the Shakespeare Book Shop.
JB had a lot of interesting information about the places we visited as well as photographs to show how various sites looked in the past e.g. the Roman Colosseum in Paris.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys finding out about some of the lesser known attractions. It was not at all physically taxing and it was nice to get about on a bicycle.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013 via mobile

I went to Paris with my 18 year old daughter and this tour was our favorite thing we did!! Our tour guide,Claire, was born and raised in Paris. She was such a delightful person and gave us enough information to keep the tour very interesting! The bikes were comfortable and easy to use. I HIGHLY recommend the Blue Bike Tour Company!! “A must-do in Paris”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

Our family (5 adults) did two tours with Blue Bikes on our stopover in Paris. The first was of the Hidden Paris and the next day was Versailles. The Hidden Paris was led by Jean-Phillipe - he was friendly and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He made the tour an absolute delight! The Versailles tour was lead by Jean-Baptiste and he, too, was friendly and knowledgeable - they both obviously love to show off their city. I can't say enough good things about this company - they are organized and reliable and a joy to deal with. The guides make the riding easy and we never felt unsafe even in the busy city streets. If you do only one thing in Paris - take a bike tour with Blue Bike Tours - you won't regret it.
