“Represents excellent value for money!”
Reviewed March 1, 2012

Loved this place, great value for money and super location. Around the corner from L'opera and Hard Rock cafe. Staff were Kendall, breakfasts were included and welcomed, served until a reasonable time.

Rooms were clean, beds were good if I could change anything it would have been to ask for better pillows you get a marshmallow each which by morning are squashed flat and are not really fit for purpose. Also as we stayed over the weekend when temperatures dropped to -15C a duvet as opposed to a blanket. Bathrooms were quaint, modern and clean.

Other points were that we were supposed to have had the following included:
served a welcome drink - never offered or served
Packed lunches - never really explained or mentioned.

Room Tip: Try not to get an inside facing wall or the only view you will get from your window will be a wall.

My wife and I are from South Africa and stayed at the hotel for a week at the beginning of December 2011.

The hotel was centrally situated with a supermarket a block away, a pharmacy 1 minute away and the large amount of restaurants and bars in the immediate area. Best of all, we were a 5 minute walk away from the Grande Boulevards metro. The area was safe, even very late at night as it was busy until way after midnight with all the restaurants and bars in the area.

Our room was on the first floor, overlooking the breakfast area. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good compared to similar hotels that we had stayed in before. The staff were found to all be friendly, approachable and helpful. We experienced no language difficulties of any sort.

Based on our stay, I can highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I will most definitely stay here again if we visit Paris. We have already recommended this hotel to family and friends.

I booked this hotel at the last minute so didn't have massively high hopes. I was pleasantly surprised. On checking in I was given a room on the 4th floor, very spacious for Paris standards and of a much better standard than other 3 star hotels in the city.
The room has tea and coffee facilities, plenty of storage, ironing board, and toiletries. All things that are not common in Paris.
The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included and of general buffet style. The best thing about the hotel was the friendly staff, it really makes such a difference.
Location is very good too, the nearest metro which is about 2 minutes walk is Grand Boulevards which is served by both line 8 and line 9. Easily walkable distance to Montmartre area as well.
I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, hidden Gem!

This was my first time in Paris and I regretfully understand that if somebody wants to spend an average amount as he/she do for a clean and decent hotel in all over the Europe, then he/she should be avoid to stay in Paris. Paying 100 EUR per night to this "Hotel" really disturbed me. I know that this is not their and the other "Hotel"s fault because they can easily find customers who are desperately wanting to visit Paris and ready to pay these extraordinary amounts for such a hostelwise/pensionwise places. Only the good things I could say for this hotel are its location, not great but enough breakfast and giving a lunch box (a packed sandwich, a water and chips) to each customer and thats all.

Room Tip: * Avoid to stay in a room which its number is ending with 03. All of these rooms (except for the one...

Dear M. Gurel,

I'm sorry about your opinion for our hôtel. We try to give you all our guests the bests service as we can.

Unfortunatly, we canno't change the situation of this hotel about the walls of this others buildings which are not our, we ask to the others persons to refresh the painting, after they decide to do or not. About the lift, we canno't change it because again of the building , in difference of a new building, we put an elevator after the construction not during so we put the elevator with the place available.

We hope to see you again and you can call me to the hôtel and we show that we have others rooms with a good view and good space for this price.

Best regards

We were not expecting the room we had when we arrived in Paris. We had booked accommodations late and were having trouble finding a family room for four. Our flight arrived early and we were at the hotel by mid-morning just juggling things to put our luggage in storage for the day when Oliviera let us know our room was ready and we could go right up. What a bonus. We could refresh and be settled before our whirlwind tour of the city, but that was not all. What an amazing place. The hotel lift was just big enough for two (or one and some bags) which our teenage sons thought was great. When we opened the door to the room and realized it was on two levels (two twins on the first floor with the bathroom and a large queen bed on an upper level) AND it had a deck where we could sit out and look over the neighbourhood, we thought we had hit the jackpot. When you think you are getting a standard two bed box and you receive a little apartment with a deck, it is a wonderful surprise. It certainly made the first stop on our trip memorable. When we were tired of walking around the city, we looked forward to returning to our hotel where we were given a glass of champagne. The next morning, there was a plentiful breakfast and the box lunches were another bonus that we ate on the Paris beaches and it both saved us some money and made us feel like locals having our picnic. Not sure what the other rooms are like, but if we ever travel to Paris again as a family, we would start by booking this hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor rooms with balcony.

Dear Sir,Dear Madam,

THanks for you to give your opinion about our hotel. When you are a family, it's very important to offer the best experience possible. It's necessary to offer a minimum of space to have the most pleasant stay. I understand that we propose you the best offer with the picnic included.

We hope to see again

Best regards

I stayed here for a few nights in March after having to make a late change to travel plans.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms, although a little on the small side, were comfortable.
Breakfast was a mix, the choice was good and the food was of an excellent quality. However, the breakfast area was busy and on one day, I decided to have breakfast elsewhere rather than wait for a table, something I had planned anyway.
Check out was efficient, and I would stay here again.
