The hotel is about 10minutes walk from the Gare Du Nord Station. I only discovered this upon going back since I got lost finding this hotel when I arrive. The hotel is okay for a short stay but you can get better ones and even closer to Gare Du Nord. The room looks a a bit dated and I got the best room (so it seems according to the reception) with a balcony. But nothing much of a view can be seen outside. Personally if I can turn back time, I would book a different hotel.

This hotel was cheap and cheerful.

Location was great for getting around via the Metro and on foot (if you like walking).

The staff were friendly and the reception was open 24 hours.

My only complaint was the noise of the room doors slamming. They are fire doors which swing back. This is probably more to do with insensitivity of other guests than the hotel!
Just be aware the rooms are not sound proof!!!

All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would consider using this hotel again.

I was worried that my had been booked bacause I arrived so late but no problem there. The staff spoke very good english and was very helpful and nice. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The room was on the 5th fllor and was no so small. Breakfast was no included but you have one for 8€ per day. The location of this hotel is good and is about 5 min. walk to the Rebulique, a rather large metro. According the staff the neighbourhood is very quiet and I think thats right because I didn't hear any noise during the night and I stayed over the weekend. Over all I would recommend this hotel. Cheap and nice.

The hotel was very clean and pleasant. Our 5th floor room was a nice size and not tiny like I was expecting for the price. It had charm and also had room for a table with 2 chairs. The windows both opened out to a balcony. The bathroom was small but it was clean and modern. The reception staff was very nice both in the morning and in the evening. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk from a bus stop or metro entrance and the Gare Du Nord train station is about a half mile away. I felt safe in the area even walking at night. There are pattiseries and grocery stores and cafes nearby which was convenient since we did not book the breakfast. You can buy a soda or water from the fridge at reception which was handy. There is an elevator which is very nice at the end of a long day sightseeing and a must on your first and last day if you have luggage. Paris is fabulous! The Parisiennes were all very nice people! Be sure to check out the flea market at San Ouen on Saturdays for new and old items. All in all, just the most fabulous vacation, ever!

It's a very nice hotel when you are in Paris for a few days. It's in a rather quiet area very close to the 'Place De La Republic'. All the important touristic places are easy to visit walking. The staff is very friendly en evrything is cleaned very well en the breakfeast is also very good. The walls are a little thin and yes you can hear your neighbours but hey that's not always such a problem.
So if you plan a shot trip to Paris this is an excellent hotel.

Not a great hotel, but not bad for the cost. I think the description of the rooms as sound proofed is a bit of an exagerration, but the hotel was generally quiet. The rooms were small, but usable, and relatively clean (especially by budget hotel standards.) Some of the staff were a bit odd, but not unpleasant.
