“Parisian Break”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

The location of this hotel is hard to beat - a two-minute walk to Gare St Lazare and within easy walking distance of lots of other sites. The room was comfortable, and reasonably well appointed. The breakfasts - both in the restaurant and the Express Breakfast - were great value and quality although I must admit a couple of times I went around the corner to the Patisserie Paul which is also a good place to get a delicious snack. The service was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Next time in Paris, we'll definitely be back.

The hotel is well situated for shopping, transport ( near station and tubes) and there are several bistro type restaurants to hand. The bedrooms are typical for Paris and small although reasonably well appointed. There is a lack of drawers for personal effects although the wardrobe did have a safe. There are no shelves in the bathroom for overnight bag etc. We had problems connecting to the free WiFi and staff were unable to resolve issues. Overall it is reasonable value for central Paris and we would use it again

Stayed here for short Paris break with friends. Very professional service with friendly helpful staff. Clean, modern and friendly ambience.Good value.
Travelling with friends. We each stayed in small bedrooms - fully equipped, modern and comfortable.Overlooked side street but remarkably slight noise disturbance considering we were in Paris.
Powerful hairdryer in the bathroom. Shower over the bath powerful but a little slippy getting in and out so take care!
These bedrooms would be a tight squeeze with with a partner but perfect for one!
Great breakfast buffet with efficient friendly staff (continental and English breakfasts).Small relaxed bar in front lobby. Close to Gare St Lazare for transport + we all felt very safe in this area. A few bar/cafes opposite and plenty more a short walking distance from the hotel.
Would definitely stay here again and no hesitation recommending it to others.

If you're all about Paris, like a good breakfast and good service and you don't mind small rooms, look no further! Btw, it's right next to the metrostation of Gare St Lazare and only 1 stop from Gare du Nord. Decent. Recommended.

The location is very good. I got a Privilege Room, which is still very very small (the standard rooms must be tiny tiny). Checked-in Thursday night and stayed for 3 nights. The minibar selection is a bad joke for a 4 star hotel. On Friday I was away all day, upon returning I discovered the room was not cleaned. On Friday night ordered dinner from room service, including a selection of cheese. Upon leaving the room Saturday morning, I hanged a "please clean my room" sign on the door. I returned Saturday evening to discover the room was cleaned, but the food tray with cheese leftovers from the night before was still there and the whole room was smelling like blue cheese !! All in all, apart from the great location nothing to write home about.

It's one of those hotels... you can't really love it, you can't really hate it. The location is great, with a few very good restaurants very close by. The metro station is also just a few minutes walk away, as is the Opera. The room however was very very small. I've done a lot of travelling and stayed in a lot of hotel rooms, but this was one of the smallest I've ever seen. It's nice and clean tho and I loved the beverage selection in the minibar. Bathroom is cramped. I only stayed for two nights and a weekend trip is all I can recommend this hotel for. Nothing to complain about except the room, but I just can't see myself being able to sleep there for more than two nights
