The staff were all very rude and unfriendly and one of them insulted us! they were totally unpolite we had a fight with one of them! I wouldnt recommend this hotel at all ! if you have any other option go for it and avoid this hotel ! rooms were not clean , soaps were not changed daily they didnt change it unless we asked them to and the new soap had a dead insect on!

This is a typical budget hotel in Paris. Rooms were clean, but very small. The absence of a mirror in the room (there was one over the sink in the tiny bathroom) annoyed my wife. There's no soap dish in the shower, which was strange, and the shower fitting itself was at waist height so that to shower above the waist you had to hold the shower head in your hand, making hair washing an awkward one hand job. But the room was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable.

Excellent location, walking distance from Gare du Nord.

An excellent option for middle-budget travellers. The location is super, very close to Pigalle and Anvers metro stations and walking distance (for those who like doing some 15-20mins exercise) to galeries Lafayette and L'Opera. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and silent. You can find some good prices depending on the period of the year. Recommended for young couples or friends travelling to Paris.

The hotel is a typical simple hotel for Paris and especially for this location. It is old, like all other hotels, but comfortable. The price-performance-ratio is acceptable. At least for the price we could get the hotel.

The room we had was a bit small but acceptable. It was clean. One disadvantage is that there is no air condition, only a fan on the ceiling. In summer it could get a bit warm. Another disadvantage is the windows. The windows are still old style windows and so they cannot keep the noise off the room. During daytime and also in the night you can hear the traffic on the street very clear. This should be part of a renovation.

The bath was also a bit small, but clean so far. The shower resp. bath tub was clean, but you can see the usage over the years. Old bath tub. Another disadvantage is the number of power outlets. Only one in the bath and one in the sleeping room. If you want to recharge your cell and maybe use other electrical devices you need to be clear about the order.

The price for the breakfast is 9 Euro per person, which was from our point of view to expensive. We went outside to a bakery, which is approx. 100 m away from the hotel. They offer Baguette, Croissants, bread and coffee for a lower price.

One of the best items of the hotel is the location. In the evening you can find a lot of restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. Furthermore there are two subway stations close by from where you can easily explore Paris with the Metro. Sacre Coeur and the Place du Tertre (Montmartre) are in walking distance, just a couple of minutes away from the hotel. The rest can be done with the Metro.

10 to 15 minutes walkway and you are at the Galleries Lafayette and the opera, where you can go shopping in the most exclusive shops in Paris. It is an experience. Furthermore you can take a sightseeing bus at the opera, which takes you to the most important sightseeing places in Paris. Very interesting, but not so cheap.

Wireless Lan is also available in the hotel, but the hotel charges 2 Euro per day. Unnecessarily. The hotel lift is very very small. Only two person fit inside, without luggage. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We had some problems with the lock of the door and the key, but the immediately helped us to get into the room.

All in all the hotel is a nice location to explore Paris, if your demands are not too high. For having a rest after a long day in Paris it is acceptable with a good price-performance-ratio. Breakfast in the bakery close by is less expensive than in the hotel. Location to the Metro is fantastic. We can recommend the hotel for a short trip to Paris.

Room Tip: Try to get a room to the backside of the hotel, in case they have it and available. Maybe you won't hear the street so loud.

Hotel is clean and hotel personel is very helpfull. I would recomend it's location as well. Rooms are small but you get everythink you need. Breakfast for 9? is a good value for money. Around a hotel you can find small shops, bakeries and lot's of pharmacies.

Thank Hedjever
